The Youth Law Project (YLP) works with children and teenagers who are facing delinquency or CHINS petitions, as well as those who are at-risk of having such petitions filed against them. The YLP seeks to get these young people the educational, health, mental health, and other services necessary to stay in their homes and communities and out of the juvenile justice system. The type of work the YLP does includes representation at school disciplinary hearings and special education meetings and proceedings. The YLP does not provide representation in delinquency or CHINS cases, but works closely with the public defenders and court-appointed counsel who do to determine how best to meet the youth’s needs. The Youth Law Project handles the following types of cases: Special education advocacy and representation at educational legal proceedings for children in the juvenile justice system and at risk of court involvement. Representation at long term suspension and expulsion hearings. Representation at other legal proceedings that may affect a youth's right to attend school.

Free confidential assistance for homeless veterans in New Hampshire

Robinson House is a non-treatment facility featuring 24 subsidized single-room occupancy apartments for homeless men who have completed a substance abuse program and are in need of a safe and supportive living environment. All apartments are Section 8 rent-assisted and subsidized by HUD and by the Manchester Housing and Redevelopment Authority (MHRA)

Various medically supervised recreation programs. Different programs run throughout the year. These programs allow youth, teens and families to connect with others who have a chronic medical condition. 1. Youth programs for ages 6-13; 2. Teen programs for ages 13-15; and 3. Family programs

Sports and recreation programs for individuals of all abilities. Has basic instruction, general recreation, and competitions. Current ones include: cycling, court sports, water skiing, sled hockey, golf, paddling, rugby, power soccer, and wheelchair lacrosse.

Run by parents whose children have had cancer and other volunteers who connect callers with other parents in similar situations. Programs provide, Emotional support Telephone partners to communicate with families whose child is undergoing treatment. Family Welcome Packet Emergency Fund - This program can pay a bill for enrolled CCL families during a time of need. Family Assistance Programs, while the child is receiving treatment, which include: Grocery certificates, gas cards and meal vouchers for hospital stays.

Children's Resiliency Retreat is specifically designed for children who are affected by a loved one's substance use dis-order. This is a program designed especially for them - a safe place where they can learn: How alcoholism and drug addiction affect the family; About the disease of addiction and whether to use alcohol or other drugs; How to recognize and handle feelings in positive ways; How to develop positive feelings about themselves; How to cope with problems safely; How to make safe decisions; How to get help, stay safe, and have fun Having a loved one with substance use disorder can be a special challenge for a child. Our program provides both fun and education and include the arts, mindfulness activities, nature and adventure based learning, which will help them learn how to openly communicate and rebuild trust. The program will consist of one-day retreats each month, during the school year, for children in grades first through eighth. Youth may participate in the program for as long as they would like.

Our 30+ Hope Lodge communities across the country provide a free place to stay during treatment so people with cancer can focus on getting better. These communities provide comfortable guest suites with private baths, as well as inviting spaces with all the comforts of home, including a communal kitchen, dining area, laundry rooms, and places to gather or find a quiet respite – all at no cost to guests. Treatment locations include Boston Massachusetts, Burlington Vermont and New York, New York.

Substance Use Disorder resources for adolescents ages 12 - 17.

Lakes Region Mental Health Center provides a wide range of behavioral health services to children, adolescents, young adults and their families. In some cases, it is important to include families in the treatment plan whenever possible. We offer after school programs that include literacy programs, fitness, STEM programs, self-defense, leadership skills, mind and body curriculum, and more. We also offer in-school and after school programming in schools all around NH. We provide girls with snacks and dinner made in our kitchens each day after school and serve breakfast, lunch and dinner during the summer.
