New Generation Shelter is a home & supportive program for pregnant women and mothers of young children who are homeless. Besides shelter other services provided to residents include: parenting education, case management, life-skills coaching, and aftercare.
The shelter also has a transitional apartment for mothers and their children. Apartment is available once the mother has proven to have a stable job or school or both.
Day care is available for residents.
Program can also help the mothers with the necessities for the children such as diapers, wipes, clothing etc.
Residents receive 3 meals a day and snacks and those with an open case for food stamps will lose their benefits as a result.

NHLA's Domestic Violence Advocacy Project (DVAP) partners with 603 Legal Aid and the New Hampshire Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence. NHLA represents individual victims of domestic violence, especially in rural areas of the state in restraining order proceedings and related child support, custody, and visitation disputes. DVAP attorneys work to obtain court orders so victims can retain and recover use of their homes, and gain child support orders allowing clients to purchase necessities for themselves and their children.

Children's Resiliency Retreat is specifically designed for children who are affected by a loved one's substance use dis-order. This is a program designed especially for them - a safe place where they can learn: How alcoholism and drug addiction affect the family; About the disease of addiction and whether to use alcohol or other drugs; How to recognize and handle feelings in positive ways; How to develop positive feelings about themselves; How to cope with problems safely; How to make safe decisions; How to get help, stay safe, and have fun
Having a loved one with substance use disorder can be a special challenge for a child. Our program provides both fun and education and include the arts, mindfulness activities, nature and adventure based learning, which will help them learn how to openly communicate and rebuild trust.
The program will consist of one-day retreats each month, during the school year, for children in grades first through eighth. Youth may participate in the program for as long as they would like.
