This is a year-round, temporary, emergency shelter for families with children who reside in Belknap County.

BELKNAP HOUSE

Belknap House is the only family-centered shelter in Belknap County providing homeless families safe shelter and case management. Our goal is to provide safe shelter enabling families to first feel safe and stabilized, then with our case management assistance begin to address the issues that caused them to become homeless. Homelessness is a high-risk time for children; we provide individualized parent programs and other needed resources along with a strong support system that empowers families, giving them the tools and confidence to become self-sufficient, and achieve housing of their own. Referrals are made through local city/town welfare offices only.
