The EyeCare America program connects eligible adults 18 years and older with local volunteer ophthalmologists who provide a medical eye exam at no out-of-pocket cost, and up to one year of follow up care for any condition diagnosed during the initial exam, for the physician services. ***Eyeglasses and the exam for eyeglasses are not covered.

There are 9-first floor apartments and 10-second floor apartments. Some units have direct exterior access, some have common hallways. There is no elevator access to the second floor. Sixteen units have 2 bedrooms, three have 1 bedroom. All units have at least 1 full private bathroom; some have 1 ½ or 2. No services are provided.

A family support home visitor will discuss the mother’s and baby’s progress during pregnancy and help prepare for birth. She will support the baby’s development after birth by providing information, toys and activities that contribute to child development.

Memories Made is a nonprofit dedicated to helping kids with diabetes in New England access the funds and resources needed to attend camp. We provide scholarships, transportation, clothing, bedding, towels, beach items, storage, toiletries, camping gear, or anything needed on the "bring to camp" list.

SE services include the development of community-based employment, supplemental job training, and long-term support. Job training is provided in addition to the training the employer naturally provides. In addition, our role is to assist with the individual’s independence level through the development of natural supports.

Supported Employment is an approach that uses vocational specialists to assist clients in finding jobs and building supports to help them maintain employment. It serves to increase self sufficiency and promotes recovery

Dialysis patients often require nutritional supplements to get enough protein and calories. Other kidney disease patients may need them on a short-term or long-term basis, yet no insurance carriers currently cover nutritional supplements. We are able to provide some financial assistance to patients who cannot cover the cost of such supplements on their own.

A peer-led discussion group for parents with a child on the spectrum. Parents can connect, share insights, exchange resources and explore strategies that support their child’s individuality. Snacks and drinks are provided.

Project CoolAir teams with local housing authorities, local organizations, and merchants to raise the funds and make the purchase to provide air conditioners to elderly residents. Many of these elderly reside in public housing.

In collaboration with local hospitals and health clinics, services offered includes, blood pressure screenings, foot screening and care, flu vaccines and other health and wellness checks.

Easterseals Military and Veterans Services, which provides resources and services to veterans, service members and their families. Easterseals Military and Veterans Services, in conjunction with Veterans Count, developed a one-of-a-kind program which has a proven track record of helping service members and their families with a wide range of family, personal and financial needs.

Through our Helping Ensure Appropriate Response to Trauma (H.E.A.R.T) program, CACs are partnering with school districts to address trauma related needs of school aged children. The H.E.A.R.T program is a collaboration between school districts and the Greater Lakes Child Advocacy Center in order (with parental permission) to inform appropriate school personnel when a child has been seen at the CAC, so that school staff can respond to the child’s needs in an appropriate, trauma informed way.

Students in the dental hygiene program offer cleanings, x-rays, and sealants at a reduced rate. Appointment length ranges from 1 1/2 hours to 3 hours depending on the procedure being performed, and requires more than one visit for completion of services. Assistance finding substance use disorder services for at risk youth.

The Deaf Services Team, which includes Deaf and hearing clinicians and interpreters, is available to provide culturally competent diagnostic and treatment services to individuals who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, to acquire the necessary skills and empower clients to become more independent in the community. Our Deaf Services team is available statewide.

The women Veterans transitional residence at the Center comprises 24 beds and is a safe living separate from any male Veteran housing that provides 24-hour controlled access and security. Case management for the Women Veterans Support Program is sensitive to the unique needs of women in transition. NECHV provides dedicated case managers and addictions counselors who are experienced in the complexities of Military Sexual Trauma (MST), PTS and other concerns specifically related to women Veterans.

A NH ABLE account is an investment account available to eligible individuals with disabilities. NH ABLE accounts are made possible by the federal Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) Act. NH ABLE accounts allow individuals with disabilities to save and invest money without losing eligibility for certain public benefits programs, like Medicaid or SSI. Earnings in a NH ABLE account are not subject to federal income taxes, so long as the money is spent on qualified disability expenses.
