We also offer in-school and after school programming in schools all around NH. We provide girls with snacks and dinner made in our kitchens each day after school and serve breakfast, lunch and dinner during the summer.

Through our Helping Ensure Appropriate Response to Trauma (H.E.A.R.T) program, CACs are partnering with school districts to address trauma related needs of school aged children. The H.E.A.R.T program is a collaboration between school districts and the Greater Lakes Child Advocacy Center in order (with parental permission) to inform appropriate school personnel when a child has been seen at the CAC, so that school staff can respond to the child’s needs in an appropriate, trauma informed way.

A Self-Sufficiency Case Manager works intensively with low-income families who receive fuel assistance to address key issues and provide supportive services to help them achieve self-sufficiency.

Harbor Care often prioritizes its housing for veterans and individuals and families living with disabilities, including behavioral health disorders such as mental illness or substance abuse disorders, physical disabilities, or those living with chronic illness such as HIV/ AIDS. Our housing comes in a variety of forms - from shared houses to apartment complexes to "vouchers" that allow a client to choose their own home within the community. In all cases, rent remains affordable, with clients paying a portion of their income towards rent. Our housing often comes bundled together with services such as case management, to help clients find employment, obtain entitlements and benefits for them and their families, and avoid returning to homelessness. Programs include: --Permanent Supportive Housing Program, for chronically homeless individuals through federal subsidies (non-voucher). --Mainstream Voucher Program, for chronically homeless individuals through a federal voucher. --Boulder Point, a project-based HUD-VASH (Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing) voucher program for veterans. --Harbor Homes and Harbor Care also operate other federally-subsidized properties, which helps us offer lower rents to qualified community members. Question topics include Family, Divorce, Custody, Housing, Eviction, Homelessness, Consumer Rights, Financial, Work, Employment, Unemployment, Health and Disability, Civil Rights, Income Maintenance, Juvenile and Education Law.

Behavior Consultation for Families: For individuals ages three and up, Birchtree’s Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) provide training and guidance to individuals, family members, and caregivers to help increase clients’ well-being and productivity at home, at work, and in their communities. 2. Coaching & Consultation for Adults: For adults with autism and other disabilities, a Birchtree Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) can help adults develop strategies to increase their well-being and productivity at home, at work, and in the community. 3. Behavior Consultation & ABA Therapy Services for Schools & Agencies: Some school districts and agencies partner with Birchtree’s experts to promote students’ educational and behavioral progress. Birchtree’s Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) provide consultation, assessments, staff training, staff supervision, and program evaluations. This includes autism services as well as services to benefit students with other disabilities, school avoidance, trauma history, and more. To help implement students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), some districts also bring in Birchtree’s Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) or Clinical Instructors to provide applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy services in classroom or home settings. 4. Training & Workshops for School & Agency Staff: Birchtree’s Board Certified Behavior Analysts and other specialists offer professional development workshops and training on topics including autism, behavior reduction, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and more. 5.
