Our Angels for Armed Forces® program was established to provide free flights to military personnel and veterans who need to access medical care or for other compelling and humanitarian reasons. Military Angel Flights are arranged by our mission/flight coordinators every day. We have assisted active military personnel and veterans traveling for medical appointments; support services; relocation and retraining.

The Navy's Family Readiness programs have been afforded the highest visibility, advocacy, and priority. In practical terms, this has resulted in increased services to family members, increased individual assistance and consultation, more varied educational programs, and a more proactive outreach, and delivery of family support services. The Navy Fleet and Family Support Program (FFSP) is organized into four main functional areas critical to mission success.

HVRP is federally funded by the Department of Labor to provide case management services relating to job readiness and employment services while having housing security issues. HVRP allows for at-risk and Homeless Veterans to apply for assistance through the HVRP case manager. HVRP grantees accomplish these objectives through a variety of core services: - Knowledge of Population: understand the unique needs of the veterans they serve and structure to meet those needs. This is accomplished through Military culture training for staff members and community partners. - Outreach - use a flexible, non-threatening approach to meet veterans where they are. Outreach also includes activities to engage partners and employers. Our Outreach Consists of two states and five counties. Our team engages VSO, Community providers, VA hospitals, State employment Agencies, shelter systems, and transitional housing in Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. - Assessment/Intake: assess each veteran to determine program eligibility and to gauge job readiness and willingness to engage in employment services. - Case Management: use a veteran-centered approach to develop an Individual Employment Plan (IEP) based on an individual's strengths and preferences while addressing barriers such as housing stability, mental health issues, and substance use. - Job-driven Training and Placement: provide training that is targeted to the specific industries, occupations, and skills that are in demand locally. Training services can be provided in-house, through partners in the community, or through the local American Job Center. - Collaboration: collaborate with public and private partners at all levels (federal, state, and local) to provide supportive services and access to housing.

The U.S. Department of Labor, Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (VETS), Homeless Veterans’ Reintegration Program (HVRP) is the only federal grant to focus exclusively on competitive employment for veterans experiencing homelessness. Participants of the program receive services such as career exploration, career technical training, job placement, and supportive services, with the goal of empowering them to secure employment in high-demand occupations, paying wages consistent with the relevant market.

Military OneSource provides support from professionally trained consultants online or by phone on a broad range of issues for service members, their families and survivors. Eligible members can receive an unlimited number of specialty consultations on a variety of topics. Individual counseling is also available, call or visit the website to request an appointment.

Care packages are created for active troops and for homeless and at-risk veterans and contain a varitey of basic need items. Holiday stockings for the VASH program children are held in December.

Financial counseling, employment, education, homelessness or living concerns, behavioral health, child and youth, deployment support, resiliency and more for active military, army, air force, navy, marines and coast guard. Care coordinators and financial counselors assist in finding resources and support and coordinate with partners and agencies at the state, local and federal level.

Provides information about educational programs and resources for K-12, students, older americans and military personnell.

AFAS offers two distinct interest free loans to help Airmen, Guardians, and their families when unexpected financial emergencies arise.

AFAS has various scholarships, grants, loans, and other types of educational assistance to help offset some expenses of higher education

Assistance with uncovered medical and dental bills.

Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) is a Department of Defense agency that seeks to promote a culture in which all American employers support and value the military service of their employees. They recognize outstanding support, increase awareness of the law, advocate for both the employer and for their employees that also serve their nation in the Uniformed Services and resolve conflict through mediation

Services include: 1) Financial Literacy, creating a budget, banking/ checking accounts, managing your finances; 2) Wellness as we age 3) Nutrition, shopping, simple, health meal planning, a well-stocked kitchen; 4) Legal, making a will, power of attorney, health care proxy, divorce resolution and credit counseling; 5) Housing, service agreements, tenancy rights/ responsibilities, referrals to community partner; 6) MH /SUD, signs/symptoms of crises, trauma and connection to MH and addictions issues; clinical group and individual sessions. PHASE Addictions Recovery-30-day cycle of psycho-educational groups, 12 Step Programs & individual sessions; Resiliency Nutritional and Neuro Emotional Technique Program; 7) Hobbies and activities 8) Basic Life Skills, personal hygiene, maintaining an orderly residence; 9) Community Supports, types, resources, and making connections; 10) Arts Expression, individual, group sessions, shows.
