The Family Advocacy Program, or FAP, is the Defense Department program designated to address child abuse and neglect, domestic abuse and problematic sexual behavior in children and youth. 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, (Formerly National Suicide Prevention Lifeline) is a national, 24/7 toll-free suicide prevention service. They will be routed to the closest possible provider of mental health and suicide prevention services. On line chat is also available. Additional free information is available for bullying victims, survivors of suicide, young adults, families and friends of persons who have committed suicide, employers, etc. ***Veterans can dial 988 then press 1 to be routed to Veterans Suicide Prevention Hotline.
