Housing Justice Project (HJP) attorneys and paralegals promote equal access to housing for NHLA clients by working to preserve their housing. In addition the HJP fights housing discrimination by investigating complaints of discrimination. The HJP also helps individuals and families in emergency situations who are either currently without shelter or at imminent risk of becoming homeless. The HJP handles housing cases such as: Section 8 or public housing Mobile home park issues Fair Housing/housing discrimination complaints Housing accessibility issues for persons with mobility disabilities

Peer support group for parents of children, teens, and young adults with substance issues. The meetings are comprised of peers, are respectful of other's views, accepting of chemical dependency as treatable disorder of the brain. Can also provide resources.

We work with individuals age 3-21 that experience a developmental disability and live with a family member. We offer support at education meetings, guide you to community resources, and help with the transition into adult life. Children's In Home Supports - An intensive home based program helping children with complex medical and behavioral needs. Services that are offered are personal care, service coordination, consultative services (including behavioral), respite care, and environmental modifications.

Non medical peer support for adults eighteen (18) years and older with a mental illness. Groups, activities, and educational activities are also offered. Transportation for members only when available.

Local affiliates of national organization build homes with volunteer labor and donated materials, then sell the homes for no profit and with no interest mortgages to low-income families. Those families must help with the construction of their homes. Each local affiliate is responsible for its own program.

A New Life is a prenatal program for patients who are pregnant and have a substance use disorder. This program is offered through Women's Health, an all female medical practice at Memorial Hospital. The program works to coordinate prenatal care and treatment options for each patient. Supports may include group counseling, medication assisted treatment, educational classes, support from a Social Worker, and complementary therapies to support treatment and recovery.

We offer American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED instruction as well as First Aid and BLS (Basic Life Support) instruction.

CASA recruits, trains and supervises volunteers to serve as advocates for abused and neglected children in the New Hampshire court system.

• Send a team member from a community mental health center to meet you right where you are, in your home, or another location in the community.
• Provide rapid response follow up appointments that include crisis intervention services.
• Review inpatient treatment options, if appropriate, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays.
