With a capacity of 32 beds, Hampshire House serves as a Comprehensive Sanctions Center for male and female offenders under contract with Federal Bureau of Prisons. Residents are referred from the Federal Bureau of Prisons, US Probation and Federal District Courts. Most residents are in the program for an average of 3 months, during which time they receive case management services that emphasize successful reentry. Hampshire House works with a diverse population with regard to age, type of Federal offense, and length of incarceration. Hampshire House opened with their first resident on April 1, 2009.

The Family Connections Center has programming and centers in the 3 state prisons located in NH: The NH State Prison in Concord, the Northern NH Correctional Facility in Berlin and the NH State Prison for Women in Goffstown. Provided are parenting education, weekly parenting support groups, life skills seminars, the ability to record books on CD's for children and internet video visits between the incarcerated parent and their child.

Furniture includes: beds and bedding, dining table & chairs, and living room furniture, such as sofas and loveseats, and armchairs. Home Furnishing items includes: dishes and glasses, flatware and kitchen utensils, dressers, towels and sheets, followed by small appliances and other home needs, such as pots & pans, coffee makers and crock pots, and even curtains and tablecloths and towels and linens.
