Pet parents can receive help from the ASPCA Pet Loss Support program with the following issues: *Assistance with the decision to euthanize. *Comfort and support at the time of euthanasia. *Help with grieving the loss. *Advice on dealing with children, the elderly or disabled individuals who are facing a death of a companion animal. *Helping the surviving animals in the household to cope. *Assistance in establishing a relationship with a new pet.

Mobile health teams bring medical and social work services to places like shelters, soup kitchens and public housing. Services provided at clinics include preventive health screenings; sick visits; and chronic-disease management. The team will also link patients with staff at Families First and Goodwin Community Health who can help with eligibility determination and applications for housing assistance, food stamps, WIC, TANF, disability benefits, Medicare, Medicaid, other health insurance, veterans benefits and more. Clinic staff can also help patients access substance misuse and mental health counseling, family support, specialty care, medications, and labs and diagnostic testing. ** As of September 2024, clinics were offered in Dover, Rochester, Portsmouth and Exeter. To be added to our waiting list, the individual/s must fill out an application to determine eligibility and if found to meet criteria, are added to the wait list. **Emergency housing services are not available.

Free minor home repairs for under-resourced families, the elderly and families with physically challenged individuals, performed by Jr. & Sr. High School students. Paint, drywall, small & easy flooring and repairs to: decks, ramps siding. Small low pitch, low to the ground roofing are all within their skill set. Students cannot perform electrical, plumbing nor structural tasks.

Three types of transportation are provided. 1. Fixed route. 2. Deviation Route Service- Buses deviate off the established route pattern up to one quarter mile to pick up and drop off passengers. 3. Demand response- Provided by the Volunteer Driver Program for senior citizens and individuals with disabilities.

Transportation to medical appointment accompanied by a registered nurse who may act as liaison with doctor for clients who may be on oxygen, have dementia, etc.

Feline Quick Fix Clinic offers low-cost feline spay/neuter services for low-income residents of Manchester. Will give vaccines and treat for flea and ear mites. Canine Quick-fix clinic: spay/neuter and give vaccines to dogs that are owned by residents of NH. Set fees apply but low income residents can apply for state discounts.

The Mobile Health Service provides critical health-related services out into the community.
