We offer a wide range of educational classes and groups for free, and all are welcome. For NH families, we provide Healthcare Coordination for families raising children with chronic healthcare conditions, and Community-Based Voluntary Services to preserve families at risk. We also offer diapers, and other products to meet basic needs.

Family Resource Center drop-in hours are open for help, information, and resources for families. Walk-in during drop-in hours or call to make an appointment and a Family Resource Specialist will help you.

TLC Family Resource Center nurses and parent educators provide comprehensive family support services including home visits, case management, health education, parent education, and supervised visitation services. The agency has a sexual health education program for young women and men ages 16-21.

The Berlin Housing Authority serves the City of Berlin with 289 vouchers and 55 units of public housing. We also manage the St Regis House a 42 unit multifamily, and vouchers for towns of Lancaster and Northumberland.

These are independent living facilities and are rent subsidized. Tenants are required to pay 30% of their adjusted income for rent. Salem Family Resources offers referrals to families who are looking for local, state, or national resources. Families might come to us with questions about prenatal planning, childcare, education, housing, emergency shelters, mental health and crisis assistance, senior care, health information, or a wide variety of other issues.

The Autism Center helps children, youth, young adults, and their families. The Center uses Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Parents receive training and strategies they can use in their natural family routines. The Center helps youth and young adults with autism and their families plan for adulthood.

New Generation Shelter is a home & supportive program for pregnant women and mothers of young children who are homeless. Besides shelter other services provided to residents include: parenting education, case management, life-skills coaching, and aftercare. The shelter also has a transitional apartment for mothers and their children. Apartment is available once the mother has proven to have a stable job or school or both. Day care is available for residents. Program can also help the mothers with the necessities for the children such as diapers, wipes, clothing etc. Residents receive 3 meals a day and snacks and those with an open case for food stamps will lose their benefits as a result.

The Family Unification Program (FUP) provides rental assistance in partnership with the New Hampshire Division for Children, Youth, and Families to two groups: Families for whom the lack of adequate housing is a primary factor in the imminent placement of the family's child, or children, in out-of-home care; or the delay in the discharge of the child, or children to the family from out-of-home care; and Youth at least 18 years of age and not more than 24 years of age (have not reached their 25th birthday) who left foster care, or will leave foster care within 90 days and are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless at age 16 or older. As required by statute, a FUP voucher issued to such youth may only be used to provide housing assistance for the youth for a maximum of 36 months. Wait lists may apply
