The Family Center offers parenting classes and groups; playgroups and family programs; individualized support for families under stress; and kinship navigation for relative caregivers. TLC Family Resource Center nurses and parent educators provide comprehensive family support services including home visits, case management, health education, parent education, and supervised visitation services. The agency has a sexual health education program for young women and men ages 16-21.

Family Connections Resource Center helps families of children from the prenatal period through 18 years old. Services offered include: resource, referral and service coordination, parenting & co-parenting classes, Watch Me Grow (developmental screenings), Families Unlimited (in-home/community-based support), Kinship Caregiver programs and support groups, community playgroups.

The Autism Center helps children, youth, young adults, and their families. The Center uses Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Parents receive training and strategies they can use in their natural family routines. The Center helps youth and young adults with autism and their families plan for adulthood.

Salem Family Resources offers referrals to families who are looking for local, state, or national resources. Families might come to us with questions about prenatal planning, childcare, education, housing, emergency shelters, mental health and crisis assistance, senior care, health information, or a wide variety of other issues.

Family Resource Center drop-in hours are open for help, information, and resources for families. Walk-in during drop-in hours or call to make an appointment and a Family Resource Specialist will help you.

The Berlin Housing Authority serves the City of Berlin with 289 vouchers and 55 units of public housing. We also manage the St Regis House a 42 unit multifamily, and vouchers for towns of Lancaster and Northumberland.

Family Affordable Housing Options assists local communities within Belknap and Merrimack Counties in the development of affordable housing for low income individuals and families. These are independent living facilities and are rent subsidized. Tenants are required to pay 30% of their adjusted income for rent.
