Concord Area Transit provides fixed route transportation Monday-Friday from 6:00am-6:30pm in the City of Concord, New Hampshire. CAT's three routes are the Crosstown Route, Heights Route, and the Penacook Route.

Granite State Independent Living transportation reimbursement program (TRP) exists to support people with disabilities to who financially qualify to access their community. TRP can be used social outings such as movies, shopping, family gatherings, events, etc. This service is for consumers who do not have access to public transportation, or where public transportation doesn't meet their need. Reimbursement can be provided for a private car, or ride share programs such as Lyft, Uber, taxis and cost of bus fare or passes.

Affordable, non-emergency, curb-to-curb wheelchair-accessible transportation. SVR’s focus is on providing transportation for non-emergency purposes and assisting those in greatest need – elderly residents, those living with a disability, and residents who are unable to drive. Other residents may use the service as space is available in the schedule. When scheduling conflicts arise, priority is given to rides needed by Senior Citizens and Persons living with a disability and for non-emergency healthcare related appointments. Rides are available to most locations in the six Souhegan Valley towns and Nashua including healthcare, grocery shopping, social services, senior activity centers and more. Depending on the daily schedule, some rides may or may not be available on a given day. Please call at least two business days in advance to request a ride and we will make every effort to accommodate your request.

CVTC provides rides through volunteer drivers to non-emergency medical & social service appointments, grocery shopping, and rides to the bank, pharmacy and post office. Transportation is provided for anyone without access to transportation because of their age, ability, income, and/or a life circumstance.

In addition to transportation provided by bus, volunteer drivers also are available to help older adults.Some senior centers are able to offer long-distance medical transportation to those who need to reach a specialist or a major medical center not located in their local community. Stepsaver is a transportation program offered by the Manchester Transit Authority as required under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990. This Act requires the MTA to provide a "complementary paratransit program" to individuals who are prevented from using the fixed route bus service. Stepsaver is a curb-to-curb transportation service that provides assistance to individuals who are prevented from using the regular fixed route bus service. Some customers may require the assistance of a Personal Care Attendant (PCA) to ride the vehicle. In order to be registered as a PCA, the eligible customer must have a physician complete a PCA certification form indicating that the customer must have a PCA. PCAs ride for free with the eligible customer. Customers may also bring along paying guests when space is available. No more than three (3) guests may ride at any time.

The Community Rides program cannot provide transportation for COAST’s ADA clients for ADA-eligible trips. Transportation cannot be provided for Medicaid clients for Medicaid-eligible trips.

MTA’s bus service travels throughout Manchester, parts of Bedford, Goffstown, Hooksett and New Boston. Also provides connections to Nashua and Concord for commuters. MTA operates CART bus service in Derry, Londonderry, Hampstead, Chester and Salem. All buses are wheelchair accessible.

For riders who have a disability that prevents them from making some or all of their trips on fixed-route buses, CAT offers a shared-ride, origin-to-destination service called ADA paratransit service. ADA paratransit service operates up to ¾ of a mile on either side of CAT’s fixed-route bus service during the same days and hours as the fixed-route bus service.

This a volunteer run transportation service for eligible residents who are age 55 or older or who have a disability/medical challenge that prevents them from driving. Passengers must be able to get to and from a vehicle with little or no assistance. *****Walkers, rollators, and other equipment that can be stowed in an average car are fine. **Wheelchair transportation in our accessible minivan is available if a properly trained volunteer driver is available. Once registered, to arrange a ride call at least a week before the ride is needed. Because all drivers are volunteers, we can never guarantee a ride.
