Granite State Independent Living (GSIL) offers various transportation options, programs, and services for adults with disabilities. Transportation is offered for: medical appointments, social outings such as movies, shopping, family gatherings, events, etc. 2. Requests for transportation should be made at least 5 days in advance. 3. GSIL has a Transportation Reimbursement Program (TRP) for qualified consumers. This is for consumers who do have access to public transportation in their area or they have someone who is willing to give them a ride.

For riders who have a disability that prevents them from making some or all of their trips on fixed-route buses, CAT offers a shared-ride, origin-to-destination service called ADA paratransit service. ADA paratransit service operates up to ¾ of a mile on either side of CAT’s fixed-route bus service during the same days and hours as the fixed-route bus service.

COAST provides advance reservation-based ADA paratransit service. A person may qualify for this service if the person has a disability that prevents the person from independently getting to a bus stop, riding the bus, navigating the route or identifying the bus. -This is a reservation based services within 3/4 mile of the fixed route system. -Eligible persons must call at least 1 business day ahead to schedule a ride. -Passengers must pay a fare each time. -Not everyone who has a disability will qualify.

STS provides door-to-door wheelchair accessible transportation with passenger assistance available for the frail and isolated elderly, as well as individuals with special needs and disabilities, allowing them to gain greater independence and stay involved in their communities.

Local on-demand door-to-door transportation for seniors, adults with disabilities, and appropriate caregivers. Transportation is for non-emergency medical, nutritional, employment and daily living needs. Services are subject to availability.

Affordable, non-emergency, curb-to-curb wheelchair-accessible transportation. SVR’s focus is on providing transportation for non-emergency purposes and assisting those in greatest need – elderly residents, those living with a disability, and residents who are unable to drive. Other residents may use the service as space is available in the schedule. When scheduling conflicts arise, priority is given to rides needed by Senior Citizens and Persons living with a disability and for non-emergency healthcare related appointments. Rides are available to most locations in the six Souhegan Valley towns and Nashua including healthcare, grocery shopping, social services, senior activity centers and more. Depending on the daily schedule, some rides may or may not be available on a given day. Please call at least two business days in advance to request a ride and we will make every effort to accommodate your request.

Volunteer driver service for medical related appointments for people age 55 + and people with disabilities who are unable to drive. Accessible transportation is available.

Regular fixed route public bus transportation with connections to major intercity transportation. Detailed information on bus routes, services, schedules is available by calling or visiting website.

Transportation is available to medical or other appointments, shopping, errands, and the senior center. In addition to transportation provided by bus, volunteer drivers also are available to help older adults.Some senior centers are able to offer long-distance medical transportation to those who need to reach a specialist or a major medical center not located in their local community. Concord Senior Transit (CST) is an origin-to-destination transportation for seniors 60 years and older in the Greater Concord Area. The vehicles are wheelchair accessible. Seniors riding the CST can easily access downtown Concord, go shopping, and get to medical appointments and recreational activities. Same-day rides are based on availability only.

North Conway Ambulance Service provides 911 Emergency Ambulance Services for North Conway, Redstone, Kearsarge, Intervale, Hales Location and East Conway in addition to providing emergency backup services to other area communities, with Paramedic and Intermediate Ambulances. Valley Transfer Service specializes in emergency and non-emergency Ambulance Services for area healthcare facilities, including Critical Care Ambulances, Bariatric Transfers and long distance transports. North Conway Ambulance also provides local Wheelchair Van Transport as part of our services for people requiring transport for local medical appointments.

Stepsaver is a transportation program offered by the Manchester Transit Authority as required under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990. This Act requires the MTA to provide a "complementary paratransit program" to individuals who are prevented from using the fixed route bus service. Stepsaver is a curb-to-curb transportation service that provides assistance to individuals who are prevented from using the regular fixed route bus service. Some customers may require the assistance of a Personal Care Attendant (PCA) to ride the vehicle. In order to be registered as a PCA, the eligible customer must have a physician complete a PCA certification form indicating that the customer must have a PCA. PCAs ride for free with the eligible customer. Customers may also bring along paying guests when space is available. No more than three (3) guests may ride at any time.

Community Rides provides non-emergency medical transportation for residents without other transportation options. This service is for seniors (60+) and people with disabilities. The Community Rides program cannot provide transportation for COAST’s ADA clients for ADA-eligible trips. Transportation cannot be provided for Medicaid clients for Medicaid-eligible trips.

Transportation to medical appointment accompanied by a registered nurse who may act as liaison with doctor for clients who may be on oxygen, have dementia, etc.

Transportation provided locally and to Boston hospitals for doctor's appointments or shopping. Wheelchair van available.

CAREPLUS Ambulance Service, Inc provides a wide range of Emergency, Urgent Care and Non-Emergent Ambulance transportation services. Our services include ALS, BLS, Specialty Care Transportation, Bariatric Services and Neo-Natal Pediatric Specialty transport. Inter-facility transport services to 911 emergency calls are provided in a professional and timely manner by CAREPLUS. CAREPLUS Ambulance Service, Inc provides Chair Car Services throughout New Hampshire for area healthcare facilities and residents. Our fleet of vans are equipped with special tie-downs for oversized wheelchairs and electric wheelchairs.

Concord Area Transit provides fixed route transportation Monday-Friday from 6:00am-6:30pm in the City of Concord, New Hampshire. CAT's three routes are the Crosstown Route, Heights Route, and the Penacook Route.

Tri-County CAP Transit is a public transportation organization in northern New Hampshire that operates in Coos, Carroll and Northern Grafton Counties.
