For those who choose to die in the comfort and dignity of their own surroundings, Hospice at HCS provides comprehensive care and support to those with a life limiting diagnosis. Care can be provided at home, in assisted living or in long term care facilities. DHHS offers NH residents free print materials in English or Spanish for those who are: ready to quit, thinking about quitting, are pregnant, under the age of 21, or know someone that wants to quit. Confidential telephone counseling is available at no cost by Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialists. A fax referral option is available for providers to refer patients that want to quit. Medicaid may cover the cost of smoking cessation aids such as medications, patches or gum.
