Nashua PAL provides free after school programming at the PAL Youth Safe Haven located at 52 Ash Street. The Center offers homework help, mentoring, various enrichment programs, and recreational activities. Nashua PAL also offers Juvenile Court Diversion along with a host of sports programs for youth, including football, cheerleading, basketball, street hockey, cross country, track and field, and boxing (adult and youth for boxing only).

The Bureau of Children’s Behavioral Health (BCBH) Residential Treatment Unit contracts for residential treatment programs which provide care and treatment 24/7 to youth.

The Family Center offers parenting classes and groups; playgroups and family programs; individualized support for families under stress; and kinship navigation for relative caregivers. The Adverse Childhood Experiences Response Team (ACERT) is a collaborative approach to addressing the negative effects of childhood trauma. When children have encountered police involvement we facilitate access to mental health services and social supports for the affected families and their children. This initiative is a partnership between Amoskeag Health, the Manchester Police Department, and YWCA

Outpatient Substance Use Disorder Treatment Services. All of our services and treatments are open to men & women. Services includes: Individual & group counseling. Twelve-week intensive outpatient programs which includes nine hours/week group counseling, and one weekly individual session Services also includes the following: Evaluate clients' substance use disorder and assess their readiness for treatment. Help clients develop treatment goals and plans. Review and recommend treatment options with clients and their families. Help clients develop skills and behaviors necessary to recover from their substance use disorder. Work with clients to identify behaviors or situations that interfere with their recovery. Teach families about addiction and help them develop strategies to cope with those problems. Refer clients to other resources and services, such as job placement services and support groups. Conduct outreach programs to help people identify the signs of addiction and other destructive behavior, as well as steps to take to avoid such behavior.

Lydia's House of Hope is a 365 day transitional housing program for homeless women and children in crisis. With over 40 in-house programs, we provide the support, advocacy, and foundational life skills needed to live a life of sustainable independence. **This is not a rehab, nor a shelter, it is a long term program dedicated to empowering women with the tools needed for independence and self-reliance to break the generational cycle of homelessness and poverty.
