Coaches also help you access treatment information, and other resources such as health insurance, housing, and basic needs. Certified Recovery Support Workers: CRSWs are ethically responsible advocates which mentor & educate individuals pursuing recovery from substance use and co-occurring disorders for every phase of the recovery journey from pre-recovery engagement, recovery initiation, recovery stabilization and sustained recovery maintenance. The Derry Friendship Center offers peer support, drop in center, and meetings based on twelve-step recovery to individuals' & families dealing with alcohol and substance use disorder.

SOS Recovery Community Organization is a collaborative of peers in recovery from substance misuse and their allies working together to create safe spaces and peer based recovery supports throughout Strafford County. SOS and it’s Recovery Community Centers exist to bolster and grow the local recovery community through: Recovery coaching, crisis response, telephone recovery supports, meetings and workshops, support for all pathways to recovery, organized advocacy, partnerships with diverse community organizations, and volunteerism and social events and active activities.

Provides information on AA meetings throughout NH; Provides meeting information on other 12-step programs such as NA, ACOA, Alanon, Gamblers Anonymous, Overeaters Anonymous, etc.; Keep and print statewide meeting lists Connects schools, police and DARE programs with people willing to speak about overcoming alcoholism. AA also offers a program called Bridging the Gap which is a program that connects those coming out of a rehab program with local AA meetings in their area
