SOS Recovery Community Organization is a collaborative of peers in recovery from substance misuse and their allies working together to create safe spaces and peer based recovery supports throughout Strafford County. SOS and it’s Recovery Community Centers exist to bolster and grow the local recovery community through: Recovery coaching, crisis response, telephone recovery supports, meetings and workshops, support for all pathways to recovery, organized advocacy, partnerships with diverse community organizations, and volunteerism and social events and active activities.

SOS RECOVERY COMMUNITY

The mission of SOS Recovery Community Organization is to support all people affected by substance use with peer-based solutions and advocacy to reduce the harm and stigma of drugs. We provide peer based recovery support services and harm reduction programs and services. We operate a statewide recovery support program for individuals with criminal justice involvement, family supports, parenting, homeless outreach and complex care coordination as well as syringe service programs at all locations.
