Our Child, Adolescent and Family Services department provides individual, family and group mental health services for those ages 0-25. We also offer a substance use disorder program that is based on a specially developed program that has been successful for persons ages 12-25. We are also providing services within the schools, as part of our Mental Health in the Schools program, and have added Mental Health in the Camps services at various local Summer camps during the season. Step Up/Step Down is a short-term (120 day) residential program to assist people experiencing mental health crises to avoid an inpatient stay in a restrictive psychiatric facility (Step Up), or to assist people leaving a psychiatric facility by providing a supportive environment while they transition back to their community. It is a peer-run program.

CLM provides array of mental health care for adults, children and their families. - Children Services: Our specialists work with children experiencing serious emotional difficulties such as depression, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder, autism, disruptive behaviors, substance use disorders, and trauma associated with emotional, physical or sexual abuse. - Adult Community Support provides a multi-faceted range of services with a goal of supporting restoration, rehabilitation and recovery for clients with severe and persistent mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, mood and depressive disorders. Services includes: Individual and Group Therapy, Targeted Case Management, Medication Services, Evidence Based Practices, Evaluation and Treatment of Substance Use Disorders, Functional Support Services, Wellness Works, Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), Supported Housing and Homeless Outreach, Critical Time Intervention.

Comprehensive Outpatient Community Mental Health Services.

IOP in online only. After completing a course of PHP treatment, some clients step down to IOP as a means of tapering their treatment in preparation for discharge. Clients attend online IOP for three hours daily, either from 12–3pm or 3–6pm. Clients typically attend five days per week to start and then step down the frequency of attendance as clinically appropriate. Average length of stay in the IOP is 10 days.

Riverbend’s Children’s Services clinicians provides comprehensive, evidence-based treatment to help young people and their families identify and resolve issues that keep them from success. Counseling is available for a wide variety of issues like anxiety, depression, self-harming behaviors, divorce, blended families, school and/or learning difficulties, autism spectrum disorders, gender identity issues, grief, trauma, abuse, addiction, chronic illness, suicidal thoughts, etc. Services are available at our offices in Concord and Franklin, at schools, in clients’ homes, and at other community locations.

Community Mental Health Center provides services to assist people with managing the symptoms and impairments resulting from mental illnesses. These include case management, therapy, functional supports, nursing and psychiatric services. The program also utilizes a number of nationally recognized evidenced based practices, including Illness Management and Recovery and Supported Employment.

Children’s Behavioral Health programs include: *The Transitional Residential (and Psychiatric) Enhanced Care Coordination (TrECC) program represents a major shift in the norm of residential treatment episodes (Residential programs or Psychiatric setting) for youth and their families. *New Hampshire's Rapid Response 24-hour services are available by for any child, youth, or family in crisis 1 (833) 710-6477. *Families and Systems Together (FAST) Forward is New Hampshire’s program that provides youth and family-driven wraparound services that is focuses on keeping the child/youth in their home community. For ages 5 -21 with an emotional disorder and has not benefited from school or community based services. The Bureau of Children’s Behavioral Health (BCBH) Residential Treatment Unit contracts for residential treatment programs which provide care and treatment 24/7 to youth.

Clients attend our PHP, either online or in-person, from 12–6pm daily for an average of 15 consecutive days. Both the online and in-person programs follow the same schedule. The PHP provides daily educational, wellness, and social opportunities to help clients develop goals, strategies for coping, and long-term healthy habits. A PHP day consists of three main components: a didactic group, group therapy, and therapeutic milieu.

Individual, group and family counseling are available for parents and children as well as case management, parent education, parent aide and respite services, psychological testing, and medication evaluation and monitoring.
