A Peer Support Agency providing a non-medical approach to mental illness for adults eighteen (18) years and older. It offers: social/recreational activities, support/wellness groups, education, workshops, and more.

Monadnock Area Peer Support Agency (MPS) is a consumer run peer support/recovery program serving adult consumers of mental health services. MPS is under contract with the Department of Health and Human Services; Bureau of Mental Health, dedicated to the promotion of individual empowerment and recovery. Services such as individual peer support, a variety of support and educational groups, vocational and educational support, and opportunities for social interaction and community integration are offered.

An up to 120-day transitional housing program for adults over 18 who are struggling with their mental health. Step-Up: into support, may not want psychiatric hospitalization / Step-Down: after inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, but still needing extra support.

New Hampshire’s mission is to expand the System of Care for all children, youth and families needing and receiving publicly funded behavioral health services. Children’s Behavioral Health programs include: *The Transitional Residential (and Psychiatric) Enhanced Care Coordination (TrECC) program represents a major shift in the norm of residential treatment episodes (Residential programs or Psychiatric setting) for youth and their families. *New Hampshire's Rapid Response 24-hour services are available by for any child, youth, or family in crisis 1 (833) 710-6477. *Families and Systems Together (FAST) Forward is New Hampshire’s program that provides youth and family-driven wraparound services that is focuses on keeping the child/youth in their home community. For ages 5 -21 with an emotional disorder and has not benefited from school or community based services. The Bureau of Children’s Behavioral Health (BCBH) Residential Treatment Unit contracts for residential treatment programs which provide care and treatment 24/7 to youth.

Community Mental Health Center provides services to assist people with managing the symptoms and impairments resulting from mental illnesses. These include case management, therapy, functional supports, nursing and psychiatric services. The program also utilizes a number of nationally recognized evidenced based practices, including Illness Management and Recovery and Supported Employment.

Community Mental Health Center for Cheshire County - Region V. Personal counseling, care management and other MFS services are available at all of our locations throughout the Monadnock region. Some clinical services are available in Keene and Peterborough and others are provided in the community.

Ray of Hope is a 10- bed voluntary short-stay inpatient unit for older adults (65 years old and up) struggling with mental health concerns.

In person and telehealth mental health services for ages 3 and older. Support services for established clients may include: case management, vocational, community, and home based services.

REAP is a prevention program that is available to all older adults in the community. It is designed to help you take control of your life, to live a happy, healthy and independent lifestyle. They offer up to 6 free, confidential counseling and educational services to help you better understand and deal with the many changes you encounter.

Our Child, Adolescent and Family Services department provides individual, family and group mental health services for those ages 0-25. We also offer a substance use disorder program that is based on a specially developed program that has been successful for persons ages 12-25. We are also providing services within the schools, as part of our Mental Health in the Schools program, and have added Mental Health in the Camps services at various local Summer camps during the season.
