The Child Impact Program is a court ordered 4 hour course required of all parents of children under age 18 who are in the process of divorce or who are required to have a parenting plan to address custody and financial support. The course assists parents in understanding the impact of divorce, separation and custody issues on their child(ren) and how they can best help their child(ren) adjust to the divorce and the changes that result. This program also provides suggestions as to ways participants can develop a newly defined relationship as co-parents and find ways to work together to raise their children. All classes are conducted via Zoom.

The Parenting Plus Program provides emotional support, encouragement, empowerment and practical solutions in managing family life. Comprehensive family support services include parenting skills, healthy communication, resolving conflicts, time management or organizational skills, nutrition, safety, resourcefulness and are provided in the comfort of the family home or in the community. Families participate by choice, at no cost to them.

Parenting education focus groups, on-going parenting support groups, home visits to pregnant/parenting teens and young women and their families, local resource guides to families in the area, referrals and assistance to families needs and parenting lectures.

Services offered are: parenting consultations, home based support, parenting education/skills development, SafeSitter Babysitting Course, nutrition, support groups, etc.

Our home visiting programs help families by providing support and knowledge in a wide variety of areas. Each home visitor respectfully supports families in their roles as their child's first and best teacher while teaching families how to help their child/children grow and learn in a healthy home environment. Easterseals Veterans Count connects Service Members, Veterans and their families to supports and services. Examples of help provided includes: employment counseling, deployment support, emergency financial assistance, childcare resources, transportation assistance, budgeting and financial management, counseling, etc. In addition Care Coordinators can link service members, veterans, and families to: benefits, health care, mental health services, and substance abuse services.

Comprehensive Family support programs offer services to strengthen families and build community. Home visiting, parental education, peer support, and counseling are available free of charge. Kinship Navigation services for grandparents or other relative care providers.

Counseling for after abortion support. Counseling and trained leaders for parenting, life skills with infants and toddlers, and utilizing community resources. Classes for pregnancy, newborn care, discipline issues, financial and budgeting and more. For men and women.

The Autism Center helps children, youth, young adults, and their families. The Center uses Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Parents receive training and strategies they can use in their natural family routines. The Center helps youth and young adults with autism and their families plan for adulthood.

Parent Mentoring Incentive Program called Earn While You Learn. Baby furniture can be earned through this program. Program designed for first time moms. Parent Mentoring incentive program for dads. Clothing and accessories available for children and infants up to size 18 mo. Maternity clothing also available.

Individual classes for prenatal/parenting education where vouchers are earned for the materials boutique. Doctor Dad program offered for first time fathers. Other support offered as well.
