In order to receive toys from Toys for Tots, individuals and families will need to go through a local non-profit, not Toys for Tots. Visit the website for a list of nonprofits that will be distrubuting toys. Toys for Tots is just facilitating the distribution of toys this year through other non-profit organizations throughout the community.

The Christmas fund helps the children of alstead have a merrier Christmas. We provide every child with a new outfit in addition to the new toys they receive.

The holiday season at Friends of Forgotten Children starts in the fall, with distribution of the Annual Thanksgiving Baskets donated from local groups and organizations. Each basket is filled with food items for an entire Thanksgiving meal and are given to clients who sign up at our facility. Friends of Forgotten Children also collects and distributes Christmas gifts for children and teens through out Merrimack county. We also have a annual Easter egg hunt. a Spring Fling for seniors

The Rochester Firefighters (Rochester, Gonic, and East Rochester) operate a program called the “Toy Bank.” Any Rochester family in need may apply for their children from age 1 to 14. Gifts are distributed at a Christmas party held at the Community Center.
