Employment services programs provide skills and strengths assessments, job-search counseling and support, and several programs that teach new job skills.

Freedom staffing is an employment program that works to remove barriers to employment for those that have been out of the workforce or are struggling to stay employed. We work with a variety of local companies and provide job opportunities ranging from light work to more labor intensive fields. We provide transportation from the Manchester office to the workplace and back as well as a light lunch to employees in the program who are in need.

Our community-based Youth and Adult Career Services helps individuals learn to make positive decisions, community connections, secure employment and develop both personally and professionally toward success in life. *We are an alternative to removing youth from their families and communities. *We assist parents with finding and maintaining employment to support their families. *We work directly with families, Juvenile Officers, employers, schools and other community members to help participants secure jobs with a future. *We prepare both youth and adults before starting work by teaching them how to engage in constructive social behavior that helps them develop positive identities as workers and community members.

The Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) is a federally funded, job-based employment and training program for unemployed individuals aged 55 years or older with an income no greater than 125% of the federal poverty limit.

• SCSEP Participants gain work experience in a variety of community service activities at nonprofit and government organizations, including schools, hospitals, senior centers, and soup kitchens. These organizations are referred to as "Host Agencies".
• Participants work an average of 20 hours per week and are paid (by Operation ABLE, not the Host Agency) the highest of the federal or state minimum wage.
• Operation ABLE also provides optional basic computer skills training to all participants that are interested.

We offer 3 services: Our transitional work program matches Veteran’s skills with a specific job and provides supervision to help them gain work experience Our supported employment program provides long-term support for Veterans with serious mental illnesses or physical disabilities to help them compete for jobs in their communities Our vocational assistance program trains Veterans living at our residential facility to improve their job-search and career development skills
