The Healthy Families America Program supports pregnant families or those with newborn children. The support team includes nurses and family support specialists who provide services to ensure good prenatal care, successful birth outcomes, positive early parent child relationships and optimal early childhood development. Services are provided in the comfort of the family home or in the community. Families participate by choice, at no cost to them.

Services include: Obstetric Care, Health Education, Case Management, Preparation for Breastfeeding, Parenting Education, Nutrition Education, Tobacco and Substance Use Cessation, Childbirth Education and Classes, Home Visits, Counseling Services for Postpartum Depression

One-on-one support that helps caretakers make connections, build community, and access the resources needed to raise healthy, happy children. In partnership with Family Support Specialists, individuals and their families set goals and work to remove any personal or environmental barriers along the way Home Visits are available for families with new babies or those with limited access to transportation. This service is free, confidential, and completely voluntary.

Pediatricians from MassGeneral for Children are available 24/7 at Exeter Hospital, and assess all of our newborn babies.

Our team of specialist nurses is available to assist with care coordination and skilled assessments for a wide range of patients including prenatal and postpartum women, infants and newborns.
