1. CPR Course Content: CPR and AED (defibrillator) for adult, child and infant. This is the AHA (American Heart Association) Heartsaver AED course. 2. First Aid Course Content: You will learn the basics of first aid including treating bleeding and puncture wounds, splinting, shock, cold/heat emergencies, heart attack, stroke and more. Certifications: AHA Heartsaver AED Card for CPR and AHA Heartsaver First Aid card for the First Aid. All AHA certifications are two year certifications.

Wellness Education. Mental Health First Aid is an 8-hour course that helps you, understand, and respond to someone who is experiencing a mental health or a substance use challenge.

Provides information to reduce the incidence of injury death & disability through prevention and intervention. Extensive resources regarding seat belts & car safety seats, fire safety, drowning prevention, playground safety, home injury prevention, bicycle safety, firearm safety, etc. Also maintains a list of resources for obtaining a bike helmet for children at a low cost.

Courses which educate people about how to perform CPR

Our staff helps NH and VT families find resources and services to meet basic needs, make connections, and get support. We offer a wide range of educational classes and groups for free, and all are welcome. For NH families, we provide Healthcare Coordination for families raising children with chronic healthcare conditions, and Community-Based Voluntary Services to preserve families at risk. We also offer diapers, and other products to meet basic needs.

We offer American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED instruction as well as First Aid and BLS (Basic Life Support) instruction.

The Granite YMCA proudly offers a variety of lifeguard trainings throughout the year including full, crossover, and recertification courses – many for free or at a low cost! Our pools are also available for rent if your organization is looking to host their own aquatics training.

Mental Health First Aid is an 8-hour course that gives people the skills to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. The evidence behind the program demonstrates that it does build mental health literacy, helping the public identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illness.

The Safe Sitter program at The River Center is a one-day course for 11-14 year olds who are ready to stay home alone or care for younger siblings or other children. The class is full of fun activities and role-playing exercises. Students even get to use CPR mannequins to practice choking rescue.

Medical services provided include but not limited to: IV therapy, wound care, medication management, injections, baby wellness visits, pain management, occupational, physical, speech therapies. Other services provided include but not limited to: personal care, ostomy care, catheter care, respite, bathing, meal prep, caregiver support, and more.

CAREPLUS Ambulance Service, Inc provides Continuing Education Services for Healthcare Facilities. Preferred Provider facilities are set up on a regular rotation for refresher and initial training sessions. Also provides education classes to assist nurses and other healthcare professionals with CEU credits.
