We offer English for New Americans (ENA) classes in Manchester for refugees, immigrants and visitors from many other countries to come together to practice reading, writing, listening and speaking the English language. Citizenship classes are offered in the Fall and Spring. These classes are open to anyone needing help preparing to take the exam to become a naturalized American Citizen.

Adult basic education has open enrollment, individualized classes in basic skills, reading, math, and English. GED program has preparation and testing. Adult high school diploma program offers classes available evenings three times a year starting in September, January and March. English as a Second Language program offers open enrollment; classes available during the school year. Classes include work in speaking, listening, reading, writing and life-coping job-related skills.

Keene Community Education offers apprenticeship programs for plumbing and electrical. A Gas Service Tech certificate program, plumbing license renewals, and a welding course are also available. A training program for LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) training is also available.

Students learn English language skills through speaking, listening, reading and writing in our English as a Second Language (ESL) classes. All area residents who are over 18 years old and need to improve their English language skills are welcome to attend. Refugees, immigrants and visitors to the United States connect and support each other as they learn English.

Above the notch community school offers a high school diploma program, ESL workshops, Hiset prep instruction and testing.

Project Lift offers free, confidential, one-to-one and small group instruction to adults in Hillsborough and surrounding towns who wish to improve their basic skills, learn English as a second language (ESL), or prepare for the high school equivalency exam (now called HiSet).

Church hosts English for New Americans, Citizenship, tutoring, and English as a second language classes for immigrants and refugees through SNHS.

Multiple levels of classes for non-native speakers of English to learn and improve their English speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar and pronunciation skills.

The ESL Program is designed for non-native speakers of English ages 18 plus and who are not enrolled in school. The instructional focus is on providing students the opportunity to speak, write, listen, and read English. Students will work at their own level and have multiple opportunities to practice their language skills.

Coos County Adult Education offers ESL workshops and Hiset prep instruction for adult learners in Coos County.

Free tutoring and small classes for adults over the age of 18 in reading, writing, math, English as a second language and HiSET/GED preparation. Basic computer and digital literacy are also offered. Location and time of tutoring is arranged to fit the schedules of student and volunteer tutor.
