ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE | SECOND START

Students learn English language skills through speaking, listening, reading and writing in our English as a Second Language (ESL) classes. All area residents who are over 18 years old and need to improve their English language skills are welcome to attend. Refugees, immigrants and visitors to the United States connect and support each other as they learn English.

SECOND START

Daytime and evening programs to improve math, reading & writing skills. High school equivalency (HiSET) preparation and testing. English and college readiness classes for speakers of other languages (ESOL). Adult Learner (volunteer tutoring) Services are available for those who cannot attend classes. Daycare for children aged 8 weeks through afterschool programing.
