Our transportation services include: • Wheelchair Van Transportation • Local Transit Travel Training • Travel Reimbursement • Non-emergency Medical Transportation • ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) Para-transit Application Assistance 1. Granite State Independent Living (GSIL) offers various transportation options, programs, and services for adults with disabilities. Transportation is offered for: medical appointments, social outings such as movies, shopping, family gatherings, events, etc. 2. Requests for transportation should be made at least 5 days in advance. 3. GSIL has a Transportation Reimbursement Program (TRP) for qualified consumers. This is for consumers who do have access to public transportation in their area or they have someone who is willing to give them a ride.

RSVP finds rewarding volunteer opportunities for people age 55+ (primarily). Many, varied opportunities are available, and we will start new projects to suit your needs. Services by volunteers most frequently focus on health and wellness (including osteoporosis prevention, health information distribution, healthcare and senior living agencies, food security and independent living). We also place volunteers in schools to increase literacy for children and adults, and many other areas of community need. RSVP Caregivers provides transportation for medical or basic needs for frail elderly or disabled persons. Volunteers may also choose to provide visitation and companionship, telephone reassurance or assistance with small tasks.

For riders who have a disability that prevents them from making some or all of their trips on fixed-route buses, CAT offers a shared-ride, origin-to-destination service called ADA paratransit service. ADA paratransit service operates up to ¾ of a mile on either side of CAT’s fixed-route bus service during the same days and hours as the fixed-route bus service.

CVTC provides rides through volunteer drivers to non-emergency medical & social service appointments, grocery shopping, and rides to the bank, pharmacy and post office. Transportation is provided for anyone without access to transportation because of their age, ability, income, and/or a life circumstance.

Provides limited transportation services

COAST provides advance reservation-based ADA paratransit service. A person may qualify for this service if the person has a disability that prevents the person from independently getting to a bus stop, riding the bus, navigating the route or identifying the bus. -This is a reservation based services within 3/4 mile of the fixed route system. -Eligible persons must call at least 1 business day ahead to schedule a ride. -Passengers must pay a fare each time. -Not everyone who has a disability will qualify.

Provides information on ride programs for seniors, disabled individuals and other limiting services. Also has a list of park and ride locations throughout New Hampshire.

Volunteers ready to help others flourish in the Kearsarge Region. Assistance may include pick up and deliver groceries/prescriptions/mail, make and deliver meals, light yard work or snow removal, emergency firewood delivery, small outdoor repairs, friendly check in by phone, budgeting, connect to local resources for benefits, help find housing, food security.

STS provides door-to-door wheelchair accessible transportation with passenger assistance available for the frail and isolated elderly, as well as individuals with special needs and disabilities, allowing them to gain greater independence and stay involved in their communities.

Ambulance Service

Assist with rides to medical appointments, grocery shopping and errands, visits to the home bound. Transportation to Boston, Burlington, MA, Manchester, and Nashua is sometimes available for those needing medical care outside the Greater Salem and Pelham areas.

Local on-demand door-to-door transportation for seniors, adults with disabilities, and appropriate caregivers. Transportation is for non-emergency medical, nutritional, employment and daily living needs. Services are subject to availability.

Rural Senior ride program

The Council on Aging Transportation Program assists non-driving handicapped and/or elderly residents of Seabrook.

Affordable, non-emergency, curb-to-curb wheelchair-accessible transportation. SVR’s focus is on providing transportation for non-emergency purposes and assisting those in greatest need – elderly residents, those living with a disability, and residents who are unable to drive. Other residents may use the service as space is available in the schedule. When scheduling conflicts arise, priority is given to rides needed by Senior Citizens and Persons living with a disability and for non-emergency healthcare related appointments. Rides are available to most locations in the six Souhegan Valley towns and Nashua including healthcare, grocery shopping, social services, senior activity centers and more. Depending on the daily schedule, some rides may or may not be available on a given day. Please call at least two business days in advance to request a ride and we will make every effort to accommodate your request.

Volunteer driver service for medical related appointments for people age 55 + and people with disabilities who are unable to drive. Accessible transportation is available.

Senior transit program and medical transportation available

Volunteer drivers use their personal vehicles to transport eligible people to and from medical appointments and other basic necessities. Transportation provided only within NH; some restrictions apply.

Transportation is available to medical or other appointments, shopping, errands, and the senior center. In addition to transportation provided by bus, volunteer drivers also are available to help older adults.Some senior centers are able to offer long-distance medical transportation to those who need to reach a specialist or a major medical center not located in their local community. The CAPSC bus provides door-to-door, demand response transportation to anyone age 60 and over The suggested fare donation is $2 per roundtrip. Rides are provided to grocery stores, shopping malls, and discount shops. The bus is wheelchair accessible.
