Stepsaver is a transportation program offered by the Manchester Transit Authority as required under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990. This Act requires the MTA to provide a "complementary paratransit program" to individuals who are prevented from using the fixed route bus service. Stepsaver is a curb-to-curb transportation service that provides assistance to individuals who are prevented from using the regular fixed route bus service. Some customers may require the assistance of a Personal Care Attendant (PCA) to ride the vehicle. In order to be registered as a PCA, the eligible customer must have a physician complete a PCA certification form indicating that the customer must have a PCA. PCAs ride for free with the eligible customer. Customers may also bring along paying guests when space is available. No more than three (3) guests may ride at any time.

A transportation program for older adults or adults with disabilities

Transportation provide to the center for meals and activities. Scheduled shopping trips to local grocery store, pharmacies, and Walmart. Also available some transportation to local medical facilities. Please call for additional information or to schedule a ride.

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Care-Van is a service offered to eligible patients coming to Wentworth-Douglass Hospital for an extended course of treatment, most commonly Cancer treatments, Physical Therapy and Wound Healing treatments. Patients are picked up at residence, taken to hospital for treatment, then returned to their home. A family/friend or caregiver may accompany patient.

Provides information on ride programs for seniors, disabled individuals and other limiting services. Also has a list of park and ride locations throughout New Hampshire.

COAST provides advance reservation-based ADA paratransit service. A person may qualify for this service if the person has a disability that prevents the person from independently getting to a bus stop, riding the bus, navigating the route or identifying the bus. -This is a reservation based services within 3/4 mile of the fixed route system. -Eligible persons must call at least 1 business day ahead to schedule a ride. -Passengers must pay a fare each time. -Not everyone who has a disability will qualify.

Provides fixed route and curb-to-curb demand-response transportation serving the NH towns of Chester, Derry, Hampstead, Londonderry and Salem. All buses are wheelchair accessible.

Three types of transportation are provided. 1. Fixed route. 2. Deviation Route Service- Buses deviate off the established route pattern up to one quarter mile to pick up and drop off passengers. 3. Demand response- Provided by the Volunteer Driver Program for senior citizens and individuals with disabilities.

Transportation to medical appointment accompanied by a registered nurse who may act as liaison with doctor for clients who may be on oxygen, have dementia, etc.

Rides are provided for medical and personal appointments: doctor/dentist appointments, lab tests, pharmacy pick-ups, grocery and other shopping, errands, hair appointments, etc. We will accommodate extended-area trips (i.e., Boston, Manchester, Lebanon, Portland, etc.) for medical appointments only. **Rides are provided by volunteers in their personal vehicles. We are unable to accommodate wheelchairs.

A transportation program for older adults or adults with disabilities

TripLink accepts a Common Application for transportation services online. Based on your age, where you live, and whether you have a disability, they will provide you with a list of services for which you might qualify. The list will include a description of the service and the eligibility requirements. When you complete the application, it will be provided to all the transportation providers on your list. Assist with rides to medical appointments, grocery shopping and errands, visits to the home bound. Transportation to Boston, Burlington, MA, Manchester, and Nashua is sometimes available for those needing medical care outside the Greater Salem and Pelham areas.

Local medical appointment transportation provided by volunteers. Persons needing transportation must be ambulatory. Transportation provided to adults. Transportation provided to children accompanied by their parent.

CVTC provides rides through volunteer drivers to non-emergency medical & social service appointments, grocery shopping, and rides to the bank, pharmacy and post office. Transportation is provided for anyone without access to transportation because of their age, ability, income, and/or a life circumstance.

Transportation is available to medical or other appointments, shopping, errands, and the senior center. In addition to transportation provided by bus, volunteer drivers also are available to help older adults.Some senior centers are able to offer long-distance medical transportation to those who need to reach a specialist or a major medical center not located in their local community. Volunteer driver service for medical related appointments for people age 55 + and people with disabilities who are unable to drive. Accessible transportation is available.

Free transportation in the area for those who qualify and are unable to use the fixed route buses operated by Advance Transit.

Concord Area Transit provides fixed route transportation Monday-Friday from 6:00am-6:30pm in the City of Concord, New Hampshire. CAT's three routes are the Crosstown Route, Heights Route, and the Penacook Route.

Granite State Independent Living transportation reimbursement program (TRP) exists to support people with disabilities to who financially qualify to access their community. TRP can be used social outings such as movies, shopping, family gatherings, events, etc. This service is for consumers who do not have access to public transportation, or where public transportation doesn't meet their need. Reimbursement can be provided for a private car, or ride share programs such as Lyft, Uber, taxis and cost of bus fare or passes.

Senior services transportation for seniors

Affordable, non-emergency, curb-to-curb wheelchair-accessible transportation. SVR’s focus is on providing transportation for non-emergency purposes and assisting those in greatest need – elderly residents, those living with a disability, and residents who are unable to drive. Other residents may use the service as space is available in the schedule. When scheduling conflicts arise, priority is given to rides needed by Senior Citizens and Persons living with a disability and for non-emergency healthcare related appointments. Rides are available to most locations in the six Souhegan Valley towns and Nashua including healthcare, grocery shopping, social services, senior activity centers and more. Depending on the daily schedule, some rides may or may not be available on a given day. Please call at least two business days in advance to request a ride and we will make every effort to accommodate your request.

If you call CommuteSmart, 1-87-RIDEMATCH, we can arrange a ride home for you. If you would like to be reimbursed, you can call a taxi, rent a car, utilize Uber/Lyft or have a friend drive you home. CommuteSmart members are eligible for up to 5 rides per year.
