For riders who have a disability that prevents them from making some or all of their trips on fixed-route buses, CAT offers a shared-ride, origin-to-destination service called ADA paratransit service. ADA paratransit service operates up to ¾ of a mile on either side of CAT’s fixed-route bus service during the same days and hours as the fixed-route bus service.

Once all other resources have been exhausted and the person has a letter of denial from town welfare office; the advocacy team will assess the person's crisis. After doing financial analysis the person may qualify for emergency funding on a one-time basis. The advocacy team will also suggest programs the person could benefit from.

The employment programs help job seekers by providing education on: resume writing, interviewing skills, voice mail use, uniforms, tools. Job seekers working with the Employment Education Advocate may be provided with: computers, bikes, bus passes to get to interviews, work, or school.

TRP can be used social outings such as movies, shopping, family gatherings, events, etc. This service is for consumers who do not have access to public transportation, or where public transportation doesn't meet their need. Reimbursement can be provided for a private car, or ride share programs such as Lyft, Uber, taxis and cost of bus fare or passes.

SCRCC works to develop information that is helpful to transportation service users, identify opportunities for coordination between service providers, and advise the State Coordinating Council (SCC) as to the state of coordination in the region.

CAREPLUS Ambulance Service, Inc provides Chair Car Services throughout New Hampshire for area healthcare facilities and residents. Our fleet of vans are equipped with special tie-downs for oversized wheelchairs and electric wheelchairs.

The Dial-A-Ride program provides rides to and from needed visits or appointments for Henniker residents 55 years and older, or for those with life-threatening illnesses. The rides may go to doctors, dentists, food shopping, the library, church, hospital visits, hairdressers, and the like

If you call CommuteSmart, 1-87-RIDEMATCH, we can arrange a ride home for you. If you would like to be reimbursed, you can call a taxi, rent a car, utilize Uber/Lyft or have a friend drive you home. CommuteSmart members are eligible for up to 5 rides per year.

One time financial assistance for individuals and families in need in Exeter, as funds are available. Examples of financial assistance provided: gas card, food card, diapers, heating fuel expenses, burial expenses.
