NAMI provides information, education and support to all families and communities affected by mental illness. Also provides training of community teams to respond competently and consistently to suicidal events, including suicide threats, attempts, and completions. NAMI NH offers a educational presentations for businesses, organizations and community members on mental illness. Topics includes: In Our Own Voice: an educational presentation given by trained consumers to educate the public on recovery from mental illness Life Interrupted: an educational presentation given by trained family members of individuals who have a mental illness Side by Side: an educational workshop series caregivers of older adults with a mental illness Survivor Voices - Sharing the Story of Suicide Loss: an educational presentation given by trained speaker who has lost a loved one to suicide

More veterans have died by suicide than in active duty over the past two decades. This is unacceptable. SSG Fox is a statewide suicide prevention program, run by veterans serving fellow NH veterans and families. We offer: Outreach to identify those at risk of suicide Baseline mental health screening for risk Education on suicide risk and prevention to families and communities Provision of clinical services for emergency treatment Care Coordination services Peer support services VA benefits assistance for eligible individuals and their families Assistance with obtaining and coordinating other federal, state and local benefits All services are free for eligible individuals/families.
