YOUTH NAVIGATION | WAYPOINT

The Youth Navigator serves as the first point of contact into all of Waypoint's Homeless Youth and Young Adult Services in Manchester. Provides needs and eligibility assessments, light touch case management, and connection to the appropriate long-term services. Waypoint can also organize transportation to connect a young person in crisis and in our age range to safe shelter or to treatment.

In partnership with Greyhound Lines, Inc., NRS helps reunite youth 12-21 with their families, or get to an alternate living arrangement through a free bus ticket. This process is initiated by calling the hotline at 1-800-786-2929. Please review the eligibility and document requirements

HOST HOME PROGRAM | WAYPOINT

Connection to a host home family willing to provide temporary transitional housing for a young adult ages 18-25. Supportive Services throughout stay and assistance with transition to longer-term housing.

PREGNANT AND PARENTING TRANSITIONAL LIVING PROGRAM | WAYPOINT

Safe and stable housing for up to 12-18 months, intensive case management, independent living skills building, parenting skills building, parenting classes, parent/child playgroups, and child development assessments.

NATIONAL RUNAWAY SAFELINE | NATIONAL RUNAWAY SAFELINE 1-800-RUNAWAY

Confidential, 24/7 crisis intervention for runaway and homeless youth and their families via phone, chat, email, text, and bulletin board. Referrals, conference calling with a parent upon youth's request, conflict mediation, and information hotline. Free bus tickets home to family or shelter for qualified youth ages 12-21.

TRANSITIONAL LIVING PROGRAM | WAYPOINT

Waypoint NH' Transitional Living Program (TLP) is a voluntary, 12-18 month program that provides supportive housing, life skills training and support services to young people, ages 18 to 21, who are homeless or transitioning out of foster care. Assists with job skills, educational support, nutrition and safety guidance, permanent housing search, renting/maintenance support, money management/budgeting, social skills/healthy relationships, problem solving/decision making, transportation and community resources, legal rights/issues, self-esteem, and career exploration.
