This peer support agency offers a variety of different support groups. Support groups focus range from Bipolar, Depression, Domestic Violence, Gay/Lesbian/Bisexual/Transgender, General Addictions/Dependencies, Suicide Survivors, etc. Some groups are for women. All groups are free.

For teens ages 14-18, AIR Artists empowers teens to develop authentic voices and self-expression in a safe, nonjudgmental community. AIR Artists focus on creativity and skill-building through visual, performing, and literary arts alongside compassionate professional teaching artists and staff. No previous experience is required.

Offered after school and during school vacations for 11-13-year-olds, this program introduces new types of art in a non-judgmental and supportive environment. Co-led by AIR staff and a professional teaching artist, programs balance high-quality arts instruction with creative self-expression and community-building. All skill and experience levels are welcome.

Forge Health provides a specialized program for Veterans or First Responders who identify as LGBTQ+. At Forge, we understand how the LGBTQ+ life experience can impact substance use and mental health, and we hold ourselves to the highest standards of affirmative care.

Support groups for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and questioning (glbtq) youth and youth allies. We provide weekly adult-facilitated, confidential support group meetings, as well as support groups for parents of LGBTQ+ youth. Often have art activities, movie nights, board games, etc. Meets at Community Campus, 100 Campus Drive, Portsmouth.

ALL in the LGBTQ+ community and their family, friends, and allies who are coming to terms with their LGBTQ+ loved ones are welcome to attend our support groups at no cost. Each offers support and discussion with our experienced facilitators in a safe, private, and confidential space.
