Outpatient Program and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for women who experience substance use and a history of trauma and/or mental health issues. Harbor Care is uniquely designed to support your recovery journey-with or without insurance. No one is turned away, regardless of ability to pay. A full range of quality residential and outpatient services are offered so that we can accompany clients on their journeys from the first time they consider treatment to long-term recovery. We offer: outpatient treatment, including our High Intensity Outpatient Program (PHP and IOP); treatment for pregnant and parenting women and their children at the Cynthia Day Family Center; Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) for opioid and/or alcohol dependence; long-term recovery support counseling and groups statewide with our Peer Recovery Support Services; and services for the Rockingham County Drug Court. We're dedicated to partnering with schools to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of its staff, student body and their families. We work on-site and through telehealth, side-by-side with school social workers, nurses, teachers and administrators to being health care and supportive services not just to the students who need it most, but also students' families and school faculty. We're with our community all of the way! We help youth and their loved ones access specialty care providers and social services, often working with our school nurse partners. We also connect families with systems and ensure long-term supports are in place for students with behavioral health issues. With specialized treatment that may include child care and transportation for parents in need of behavioral health care, we take a holistic, whole-family approach to ensuring health and wellness.

Lydia's House of Hope is a 365 day transitional housing program for homeless women and children in crisis. With over 40 in-house programs, we provide the support, advocacy, and foundational life skills needed to live a life of sustainable independence. **This is not a rehab, nor a shelter, it is a long term program dedicated to empowering women with the tools needed for independence and self-reliance to break the generational cycle of homelessness and poverty.

This peer support agency offers a variety of different support groups. Support groups focus range from Bipolar, Depression, Domestic Violence, Gay/Lesbian/Bisexual/Transgender, General Addictions/Dependencies, Suicide Survivors, etc. Some groups are for women. All groups are free.

Well-woman annual exams, pelvic exams, breast exams and instruction in self breast exam, referral for mammography, pap tests, etc. Addtional tests for anemia, STIs (sexually transmitted infections), cholesterol screening, etc. are done as requested or required.

The VNA hosts a mens and womens drop in support group each month.

We offer confidential help for Veterans, service members, and their families at no cost in a non-medical setting. Our services include counseling for needs such as depression, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and the psychological effects of military sexual trauma (MST). We can also connect you with more support in VA and your community.

Gently used, clean or new women's clothing may be donated. Pet hair free too.

3.5 Residential Treatment for Women

Rosie’s Pantry seeks to combat period poverty by providing sanitary products, free of cost, to those who need them. Located in the Girls Inc. at 27 Burke Street in Nashua, community members can pick up products such as sanitary napkins, tampons, menstrual cups, deodorant, and more on weekdays between 8 am and 6 pm. Donations to Rosie’s Pantry also support students experiencing period poverty at some of Nashua’s public schools.

Provides financial assistance through scholarships and grants to women who want to further their higher education

Linda's Closet is a free clothing resource for women. Women can choose items for all types of jobs, interviews, and school/training programs. Linda's Closet staff personally assists women in selecting the clothing they need.

The Center provides free help and training to people who want to start a business and established business owners. The range of topics includes: developing a business plan, financing, social media tools, starting a business, resources, and more. ***The Center helps men and women.
