IMPORTANT NOTICE: As the situation around COVID-19 evolves, Waypoint is adapting its operations to protect the safety and well-being of clients and staff. In an effort to continue providing critical care to our clients, we have modified our service delivery on a program-by-program basis. Staff is working remotely and continues to be accessible via email and phone.

We offer a wide range of educational classes and groups for free, and all are welcome. For NH families, we provide Healthcare Coordination for families raising children with chronic healthcare conditions, and Community-Based Voluntary Services to preserve families at risk. We also offer diapers, and other products to meet basic needs.

CHILD DEVELOPMENT EDUCATION AND PARENTING SKILLS curriculum includes: Nurturing Your Newborn, Your Baby’s First Year, The Challenge of Toddlers, and Positive Discipline

Provides different support groups including alcohol and drug use disorder, new parents, cancer and alzheimers.

Wide variety of health and wellness related as well as bereavement support groups offered. New parent support group-meet other new parents and discuss topics of concern. Facilitated by the Birth Center Staff

Comprehensive Family support programs offer services to strengthen families and build community. Home visiting, parental education, peer support, and counseling are available free of charge. Kinship Navigation services for grandparents or other relative care providers.

Offered to mothers and their babies as an opportunity to share and network. Weekly topics will include feeding, crying, sleep, caring for yourself, growth and development of your baby, dealing with relationships, managing and preventing illness, family nutrition, and finding a balance in life. Groups are led by a nurse or childbirth educator.

A 90-day service designed to restore positive functioning in families that need multiple interventions and who would benefit from a variety of services which are coordinated and integrated to meet the families' specific needs. This includes family therapy, tracking and/or parent aide.

A family support home visitor will discuss the mother’s and baby’s progress during pregnancy and help prepare for birth. She will support the baby’s development after birth by providing information, toys and activities that contribute to child development.

A free, volunteer, home visitor program for families with new babies. A trained volunteer will be matched to a family for 2-3 hours, weekly visits for 3-4 months following the birth of your baby or babies. Volunteers pitch in with practical assistance and emotional support for new parents.
