Comprehensive program that covers the 5 pre-employment transition services hosted at community college campuses and GSIL offices throughout New Hampshire. In small groups (16 students max) students work through an academic curriculum presented as a simulated work environment with soft skills training braided throughout. Students will have the opportunity to earn academic credit through Extended Learning Opportunities (ELOs), become more aware of career options, and have work-based learning experiences out in the community to obtain a fuller understanding of employer expectations.
There are 3 cohorts offered each year - Fall and Spring sessions (14 weeks), as well as Summer sessions (5 weeks).
Scheduling for each session is as follows:
• 4 days/week of academic instruction
• 1 day/week of a work experience
• Afternoon Computer Lab is also available for credit recovery
