HARBOR CARE NH PEER RECOVERY SUPPORT ORGANIZATIONS/NH RECOVERY HUB | HARBOR CARE

Services can vary per Recovery Community Center. All Recovery Community Centers offer Peer Recovery Coaching, Telephone Recovery Support, and mutual aid meetings/recovery support groups. Recovery from substance abuse is often a lifelong process, and it helps to have a community of support. Harbor Care has helped guide the growth of Peer Recovery Support Services throughout New Hampshire’s Recovery Community Organizations. Visit NH Recovery Hub to find services in your area. How They Work: People entering recovery often need to significantly change their lives—from how they have fun to how they maintain recovery. Peer Recovery Support Services offers both the community and services people need to stay healthy. Supports include: Recovery coaching Telephone support services Groups Treatment service navigation and connection Education Recreational and wellness activities (e.g., yoga, art, music, etc.) While Harbor Care does not run these organizations, we continue to help them grow through technical assistance and capacity building, acting as a business incubator and passing through millions of dollars in state funding to the Recovery Community Centers that subcontract with us.

Monadnock Area Peer Support Agency (MPS) is a consumer run peer support/recovery program serving adult consumers of mental health services. PEER RECOVERY SUPPORT SPECIALIST | REVIVE RECOVERY - MAIN OFFICE

Peer Recovery Support Specialists promote recovery, remove barriers, build recovery capital, connect recoverees with recovery support services; and encourage hope, optimism and healthy living. Peer Recovery Support Specialists often will assist individuals with removing barriers such as assisting with employment, housing, educational needs, connections to mental health resources when desired, connections to meetings through multiple pathways as well as recovery oriented social network events, activities and other wellness related opportunities.
