Peer Recovery Support Services offers both the community and services people need to stay healthy. Supports include: Recovery coaching Telephone support services Groups Treatment service navigation and connection Education Recreational and wellness activities (e.g., yoga, art, music, etc.) While Harbor Care does not run these organizations, we continue to help them grow through technical assistance and capacity building, acting as a business incubator and passing through millions of dollars in state funding to the Recovery Community Centers that subcontract with us.

The Derry Friendship Center offers peer support, drop in center, and meetings based on twelve-step recovery to individuals' & families dealing with alcohol and substance use disorder.

Monadnock Area Peer Support Agency (MPS) is a consumer run peer support/recovery program serving adult consumers of mental health services. MPS is under contract with the Department of Health and Human Services; Bureau of Mental Health, dedicated to the promotion of individual empowerment and recovery. Services such as individual peer support, a variety of support and educational groups, vocational and educational support, and opportunities for social interaction and community integration are offered.

SaVida Health provides evidence-based medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder and alcohol use disorder. At SaVida Health, treatment includes FDA-approved medications like buprenorphine-naloxone (Suboxone), Sublocade, or naltrexone (Vivitrol).

Peer Recovery Support Specialists promote recovery, remove barriers, build recovery capital, connect recoverees with recovery support services; and encourage hope, optimism and healthy living. Peer Recovery Support Specialists often will assist individuals with removing barriers such as assisting with employment, housing, educational needs, connections to mental health resources when desired, connections to meetings through multiple pathways as well as recovery oriented social network events, activities and other wellness related opportunities. Peer Recovery Support Specialists also provide crisis response and resources for community members of all ages who may be struggling with substance misuse and are seeking treatment and recovery options.
