Special Needs Unit-locked unit for people with Dementia or Alzheimer's disease. HCNH also offers a Hospice program for terminally ill residents.

Monadnock Area Peer Support Agency (MPS) is a consumer run peer support/recovery program serving adult consumers of mental health services. MPS is under contract with the Department of Health and Human Services; Bureau of Mental Health, dedicated to the promotion of individual empowerment and recovery. Our Child, Adolescent and Family Services department provides individual, family and group mental health services for those ages 0-25. We also offer a substance use disorder program that is based on a specially developed program that has been successful for persons ages 12-25. We are also providing services within the schools, as part of our Mental Health in the Schools program, and have added Mental Health in the Camps services at various local Summer camps during the season. Intensive Outpatient Program is a more intensive program than standard therapy for those struggling with a substance use disorder. Boarding is available for those who wish to stay in our facilities during treatment.

Outpatient Substance Use Disorder Treatment Services. All of our services and treatments are open to men & women. Services includes: Individual & group counseling. Twelve-week intensive outpatient programs which includes nine hours/week group counseling, and one weekly individual session Services also includes the following: Evaluate clients' substance use disorder and assess their readiness for treatment. Help clients develop treatment goals and plans. Review and recommend treatment options with clients and their families. Help clients develop skills and behaviors necessary to recover from their substance use disorder. Work with clients to identify behaviors or situations that interfere with their recovery. Teach families about addiction and help them develop strategies to cope with those problems. Refer clients to other resources and services, such as job placement services and support groups. Conduct outreach programs to help people identify the signs of addiction and other destructive behavior, as well as steps to take to avoid such behavior.

ARCNH provides peer recovery support services (recovery coaching) to those with substance use disorder (SUD), robust support services to family members, loved ones, and friends affected by SUD, and referrals to medication assisted treatment and other SUD related resources.
