Peer Support Warmline is a free, confidential, non medical, nonjudgmental peer support service. Trained peer operators answer calls dealing with a wide range of issues including loneliness, sorting out difficult situations, sadness, uncomfortable or intense emotions, and social isolation.

Our Child, Adolescent and Family Services department provides individual, family and group mental health services for those ages 0-25. We also offer a substance use disorder program that is based on a specially developed program that has been successful for persons ages 12-25. We are also providing services within the schools, as part of our Mental Health in the Schools program, and have added Mental Health in the Camps services at various local Summer camps during the season. NAMI provides information, education and support to all families and communities affected by mental illness. Also provides training of community teams to respond competently and consistently to suicidal events, including suicide threats, attempts, and completions. Non medical peer support for adults eighteen (18) years and older with a mental illness. Groups, activities, and educational activities are also offered. Transportation for members only when available.

In person and telehealth mental health services for ages 3 and older. Services include, but not limited to: individual, couples, group, family therapy and Psychological and Neuropsychological assessments and testing. Support services for established clients may include: case management, vocational, community, and home based services.

Our residential program is a safe, home-like environment that provides support and evaluation for individuals who are experiencing challenges in managing symptoms related to their mental illness with or without co-occurring substance use. The residence is a modified therapeutic community, a treatment model where collaboration and community are integral to the recovery process, and where peers are encouraged to develop relationships and provide feedback and support in an individual’s recovery. The residential program is staffed 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, to provide support, treatment intervention, and monitoring. Length of stay is determined on an individualized basis as not all our participants’ needs are the same.

County nursing home with the following types of nursing home care: 1. Skilled -short term sub-acute services with inpatient rehabilitation services like Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, etc. 2. Long term nursing home care. 3. Enhanced Living Unit (ELU)- unlocked unit for people with psychiatric disorders such as depression and anxiety, behavioral issues and early stage dementia needing increased level of structure and behavior management. 4. Special Needs Unit-locked unit for people with Dementia or Alzheimer's disease. HCNH also offers a Hospice program for terminally ill residents.

It offers: social/recreational activities, support/wellness groups, education, peer support, workshops, and more. A warm line is available for after-hours support.

Monadnock Area Peer Support Agency (MPS) is a consumer run peer support/recovery program serving adult consumers of mental health services. MPS is under contract with the Department of Health and Human Services; Bureau of Mental Health, dedicated to the promotion of individual empowerment and recovery. Services such as individual peer support, a variety of support and educational groups, vocational and educational support, and opportunities for social interaction and community integration are offered.

An up to 120-day transitional housing program for adults over 18 who are struggling with their mental health. Step-Up: into support, may not want psychiatric hospitalization / Step-Down: after inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, but still needing extra support.

The Peer Crisis Respite Center is an alternative to hospitalization or for those that do not want to go to the hospital or do not qualify for it. Give us a call or come in and we can see if you would benefit from this great program. The short term stay is 1 to 7 days and is separate but connected to the Peer Center. You can come and go with some simple agreements and communication so you can still stay in your community. The only requirements are we are not a homeless shelter, and are you able to manage you daily medications. A pre-interview is needed prior to entry. Please remember we are a non medical and a non clinical setting, trained Peers supporting Peers.
