IMPORTANT NOTICE: As the situation around COVID-19 evolves, Waypoint is adapting its operations to protect the safety and well-being of clients and staff. In an effort to continue providing critical care to our clients, we have modified our service delivery on a program-by-program basis. The Community Support Services (CSS) department provides a variety of tools and resources to assist people with disabilities to live and work in the community. The CSS department directs the Project Search work-based training program.

Provides services to children and teens with Autism and their families and caregivers. Service examples are: home based Applied Behavior Analysis, diagnosis, assessment, therapy, camps, school support, in home respite care, parent and caregiver trainings, and more

For NH families, we provide Healthcare Coordination for families raising children with chronic healthcare conditions, and Community-Based Voluntary Services to preserve families at risk. We also offer diapers, and other products to meet basic needs.

The Autism Center helps children, youth, young adults, and their families. The Center uses Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Parents receive training and strategies they can use in their natural family routines. The Center helps youth and young adults with autism and their families plan for adulthood.

Provides resources and supports to individuals with Asperger's Syndrome (AS) or Autism and their families and friends. Services include: information and service referrals; support groups for parents; consultation with adults with AS and/or with families of adults; social activity groups for adults with AS; legislative advocacy; seminars, conferences, and workshops; and parenting classes. Free telephone and online support is available.

Offers a year long recreation program facilitated by staff and volunteers. Activities encourage development of communication and social skills through modeling and practice. Individualized skills and goals are identified and worked on through group play and exploration in the community. Some online options may be available through Zoom. Also offers an in-person summer camp called Camp Aspire. Activities include boating, cooking over a fire, hiking, horseback riding and arts and crafts.

We provide Applied Behavior Analysis services to adults with Developmental disabilities, Autism, and Acquired Brain Injuries and Children with Disabilities

The Autism Center provide services for individuals with an Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis. The following services are offered: assessments, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Sibs Shop, therapy, school consultations, parenting education and support.

A peer-led discussion group for parents with a child on the spectrum. Parents can connect, share insights, exchange resources and explore strategies that support their child’s individuality. Snacks and drinks are provided.

These 90-minute, single-session workshops are a great way to learn some basics, meet our staff, and connect with the community for the first time.
