Lamprey Health Care is a non-profit health care clinic. The clinic provides a wide range of primary health care services to people of all ages. The Adverse Childhood Experiences Response Team (ACERT) is a collaborative approach to addressing the negative effects of childhood trauma. When children have encountered police involvement we facilitate access to mental health services and social supports for the affected families and their children. Outpatient Substance Use Disorder Treatment Services. All of our services and treatments are open to men & women. Services includes: Individual & group counseling. Twelve-week intensive outpatient programs which includes nine hours/week group counseling, and one weekly individual session Services also includes the following: Evaluate clients' substance use disorder and assess their readiness for treatment. Help clients develop treatment goals and plans. Review and recommend treatment options with clients and their families. Help clients develop skills and behaviors necessary to recover from their substance use disorder. Work with clients to identify behaviors or situations that interfere with their recovery. Teach families about addiction and help them develop strategies to cope with those problems. Refer clients to other resources and services, such as job placement services and support groups. Conduct outreach programs to help people identify the signs of addiction and other destructive behavior, as well as steps to take to avoid such behavior.

Nashua PAL provides free after school programming at the PAL Youth Safe Haven located at 52 Ash Street. The Center offers homework help, mentoring, various enrichment programs, and recreational activities. Nashua PAL also offers Juvenile Court Diversion along with a host of sports programs for youth, including football, cheerleading, basketball, street hockey, cross country, track and field, and boxing (adult and youth for boxing only).

Making Change is a group model designed and developed by Second Growth to provide prevention education and guidance to adolescents and young adults within the pre-contemplative and contemplative stages of their journey toward harm-reduction and sobriety. Second Growth hosts two Making Change groups on Tuesday evenings beginning at 5 pm. The first Group is for teens between the ages of 11 and 14 who are middle-school aged. The second Group is for teens between the ages of 14 and 19 who are high-school aged. Between the two Groups we enjoy social time while we serve a casual meal of pizza and beverages. All participants are welcome to attend this dinner time break.

New Hampshire’s mission is to expand the System of Care for all children, youth and families needing and receiving publicly funded behavioral health services. This includes mental health and substance misuse across the lifespan and all levels of care. If you are worried about yourself or someone you love, we want to help you find support. Children’s Behavioral Health programs include: *The Transitional Residential (and Psychiatric) Enhanced Care Coordination (TrECC) program represents a major shift in the norm of residential treatment episodes (Residential programs or Psychiatric setting) for youth and their families. *New Hampshire's Rapid Response 24-hour services are available by for any child, youth, or family in crisis 1 (833) 710-6477. *Families and Systems Together (FAST) Forward is New Hampshire’s program that provides youth and family-driven wraparound services that is focuses on keeping the child/youth in their home community. For ages 5 -21 with an emotional disorder and has not benefited from school or community based services. The Bureau of Children’s Behavioral Health (BCBH) Residential Treatment Unit contracts for residential treatment programs which provide care and treatment 24/7 to youth.

The Family Center offers parenting classes and groups; playgroups and family programs; individualized support for families under stress; and kinship navigation for relative caregivers. We offer a wide range of educational classes and groups for free, and all are welcome. For NH families, we provide Healthcare Coordination for families raising children with chronic healthcare conditions, and Community-Based Voluntary Services to preserve families at risk. The Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP) is a federally funded, comprehensive sexual health education program provided through Amoskeag Health for teens and young adults. This program works to increase their healthy relationships, positive adolescent development, and to reduce pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections. PREP provides a no-cost, discussion-based course open to people of all genders, aged 14-19 years, or up to 21 years old if pregnant and/or parenting. Parental consent is required for participation.

The Family Center offers the very best in pediatric care for newborns and pediatric inpatients through a clinical collaboration with MassGeneral for Children, a nationally recognized leader in pediatric services. Pediatricians from MassGeneral for Children are available 24/7 at Exeter Hospital, and assess all of our newborn babies.
