The Upper Room accepts donations of diapers, wipes, food, program snacks and building and office supplies. Supplies for our community service program, youth groups, playgroups and classrooms. Due to space constraints the following donations are NOT accepted: underwear, slips, socks, bathing suits, toys, books, games, household items, baby furniture and products, appliances, sports equipment.

New clothing for infants and children, as well as maternity clothing donations are accepted. Gently used furniture and new in-the-box car seats are also accepted.

The Elaine David Thrift Shop formerly, known as the Hollyhock Thrift Shop, has clothing for men, women and children, plus home goods at low prices. Proceeds fund library programs and services. Donations of clothing accepted.

Outfitters will only issue store vouchers for clients of Families in Transition.

Goodwill stores accept donations of items in good condition. Goodwill employees may decline a donation if, in their judgment, it is not in clean, or in saleable condition or if they are unable to assist with larger items due to risk of injury. Goodwill cannot accept certain items due to legal or liability risks, safety or hazardous/universal waste concerns, recycling and/or disposal fees. A list of unacceptable items is on the Goodwill website.
