The center provides space for rent for community functions and offers various community activities.
Avenue A is primarily a place for teenagers to gather and spend time together. Available are pool and foos ball tables, ping pong, games, books, magazines, food and a lounge area. Programming for this age population includes open hours on Fridays, karaoke, open mic, tutoring services for adolescents, and college planning services. The facility is also used by outside groups and is available for rent for parties and other special occasions. Groups and class instruction is welcome at Avenue A for a donation. Volunteers are needed to staff open hours and for programming.

The Marrion Gerrish Community Center provides meeting space for nonprofits, groups, organizations, clubs and teams; Older adult games available each weekday. WiFi Cafe is the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 2 pm - 4 pm providing free help with cell phone, tablets or laptops. The last Friday of the month is a free movie. Every month we have information sessions targeted towards older adults. We have 4 community events each year.
