Outpatient Substance Use Disorder Treatment Services. All of our services and treatments are open to men & women. Services includes: Individual & group counseling. Twelve-week intensive outpatient programs which includes nine hours/week group counseling, and one weekly individual session Services also includes the following: Evaluate clients' substance use disorder and assess their readiness for treatment. Help clients develop treatment goals and plans. Review and recommend treatment options with clients and their families. Help clients develop skills and behaviors necessary to recover from their substance use disorder. Work with clients to identify behaviors or situations that interfere with their recovery. Teach families about addiction and help them develop strategies to cope with those problems. Refer clients to other resources and services, such as job placement services and support groups. Conduct outreach programs to help people identify the signs of addiction and other destructive behavior, as well as steps to take to avoid such behavior.

Provide clean syringes for injection users, sterile equipment and materials, and referral to HIV HepC and injection related injury to partners.

Our harm reduction program provides weekly and by appointment delivery of safe injection supplies including syringes, tourniquets, cookers, Narcan, cotton pellets, sterile water, basic self care items, condoms, fentanyl test strips, alcohol wipes, bandaids, health screenings, wound care and educational materials.

Recovery Coaching: At The Shed, our recovery coaches meet you where you are at, walking alongside you on your journey to a sustained recovery. Coaches also help you access treatment information, and other resources such as health insurance, housing, and basic needs. Certified Recovery Support Workers: CRSWs are ethically responsible advocates which mentor & educate individuals pursuing recovery from substance use and co-occurring disorders for every phase of the recovery journey from pre-recovery engagement, recovery initiation, recovery stabilization and sustained recovery maintenance. Behavioral health services, resources, and counseling for adults and children. The Behavioral Health team can assist with issues such as depression, anxiety, life issues, substance use disorder, and coping with the challenges of chronic disease management.

We are a meetinghouse and community for peer-driven recovery support groups, providing hope and support since 1984. We offer individuals, families and friends struggling with a substance use disorder or its impact a place to meet, a place to share, and a place to recover.

Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Program for Opioid Use Disorder Mid-State has a specialized team dedicated to helping people achieve sobriety and live a life free of substances. Our goal is to help our patients learn to live without drugs by developing healthier coping skills during their course of treatment. Mid-State offers outpatient Medication-assisted treatment in Bristol and Plymouth using medications in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies for the treatment of substance use disorders. The program is appropriate for adults 18 years of age or older, including those who are pregnant.

We can help people can connected to our peer-based recovery programming or can get them connected to other local resources such as counseling, residential treatment, out-patient treatment, mental health services, employment, housing, and financial assistance programs.

Harbor Care is uniquely designed to support your recovery journey-with or without insurance. No one is turned away, regardless of ability to pay. A full range of quality residential and outpatient services are offered so that we can accompany clients on their journeys from the first time they consider treatment to long-term recovery. We offer: outpatient treatment, including our High Intensity Outpatient Program (PHP and IOP); treatment for pregnant and parenting women and their children at the Cynthia Day Family Center; Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) for opioid and/or alcohol dependence; long-term recovery support counseling and groups statewide with our Peer Recovery Support Services; and services for the Rockingham County Drug Court. We're dedicated to partnering with schools to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of its staff, student body and their families. We work on-site and through telehealth, side-by-side with school social workers, nurses, teachers and administrators to being health care and supportive services not just to the students who need it most, but also students' families and school faculty. We're with our community all of the way! We help youth and their loved ones access specialty care providers and social services, often working with our school nurse partners. We also connect families with systems and ensure long-term supports are in place for students with behavioral health issues. With specialized treatment that may include child care and transportation for parents in need of behavioral health care, we take a holistic, whole-family approach to ensuring health and wellness.

Avenues provides evidence-based treatment for substance use disorder. Types of treatment available include residential treatment, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, outpatient, and limited medical withdrawal management.

Services can vary per Recovery Community Center. All Recovery Community Centers offer Peer Recovery Coaching, Telephone Recovery Support, and mutual aid meetings/recovery support groups. Recovery from substance abuse is often a lifelong process, and it helps to have a community of support. How They Work: People entering recovery often need to significantly change their lives—from how they have fun to how they maintain recovery. Peer Recovery Support Services offers both the community and services people need to stay healthy. Supports include: Recovery coaching Telephone support services Groups Treatment service navigation and connection Education Recreational and wellness activities (e.g., yoga, art, music, etc.) While Harbor Care does not run these organizations, we continue to help them grow through technical assistance and capacity building, acting as a business incubator and passing through millions of dollars in state funding to the Recovery Community Centers that subcontract with us.

Intensive Outpatient Program is a more intensive program than standard therapy for those struggling with a substance use disorder. Boarding is available for those who wish to stay in our facilities during treatment.
