With the ultimate goal of improving quality of life, counseling helps people increase their self-esteem, cope more effectively with stress, and reduce isolation. It also helps individuals and families strengthen communication skills in order to build and sustain healthy relationships and live more satisfying lives. Counseling services are provided by clinical social workers and mental health counselors.

Residents begin rebuilding their lives through work, education, and continued substance use disorder treatment services. Residents participate in individual counseling, therapeutic groups, case management, and strengths-based recovery programming.

Groups Recover Together is a community of physicians, counselors and recovering opioid users you can rely on for affordable and convenient help. Our treatment community provides medication (Suboxone) and weekly meetings with other people recovering from opioid use both in-person and telehealth. Suboxone is prescribed in correct doses to curb pain and sickness from withdrawal, allowing for the best chance at recovery.

Our licensed clinical social workers and psychologists offer services as an integral part of the HealthFirst Patient Centered Medical Home approach. REAP is a prevention program that is available to all older adults in the community. The program offers free, confidential counseling and educational services to help participants better understand and deal with the many life changes they encounter. SaVida Health provides evidence-based medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder and alcohol use disorder. At SaVida Health, treatment includes FDA-approved medications like buprenorphine-naloxone (Suboxone), Sublocade, or naltrexone (Vivitrol).

The Lakes Addiction Treatment Center, located in Laconia, New Hampshire, provides an outpatient addiction recovery experience for individuals suffering from substance abuse disorder. Our licensed and certified addiction recovery care specialists will tailor an individualized program to meet your personal needs and goals while combining proven pharmacological and behavioral therapies. Services include Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP, Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) and Oupatient with 1:1 Sessions (OP)

Our residential program is a safe, home-like environment that provides support and evaluation for individuals who are experiencing challenges in managing symptoms related to their mental illness with or without co-occurring substance use. The residence is a modified therapeutic community, a treatment model where collaboration and community are integral to the recovery process, and where peers are encouraged to develop relationships and provide feedback and support in an individual’s recovery. The residential program is staffed 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, to provide support, treatment intervention, and monitoring. Length of stay is determined on an individualized basis as not all our participants’ needs are the same.

Assessments, counseling, referrals, and treatment are provided to adolescents and adults with substance use disorders. Treatment is also available for persons with both substance use and mental health disorders (like depression, anxiety or PTSD).
