Offers both a partial hospital and an intensive outpatient program. Both are comprehensive treatment programs for adults that provide mental health and addiction treatment by day, allowing clients to return home or stay in on-campus housing at night. Substance Use Disorder Treatment services include the evidenced-base practice of Integrated Treatment for Co-Occurring Disorders (ITCOD), and an outpatient Medication Assisted Treatment program (Suboxone). Services are available to adults living in our catchment area. Services are provided by licensed clinicians whose backgrounds are in the areas of both addiction services and mental health services and our Board certified psychiatrists.

Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Program for Opioid Use Disorder Mid-State has a specialized team dedicated to helping people achieve sobriety and live a life free of substances. Our goal is to help our patients learn to live without drugs by developing healthier coping skills during their course of treatment. Mid-State offers outpatient Medication-assisted treatment in Bristol and Plymouth using medications in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies for the treatment of substance use disorders. The program is appropriate for adults 18 years of age or older, including those who are pregnant.

SaVida Health provides evidence-based medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder and alcohol use disorder. At SaVida Health, treatment includes FDA-approved medications like buprenorphine-naloxone (Suboxone), Sublocade, or naltrexone (Vivitrol).

The Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) represents a highly intensive and structured form of outpatient addiction treatment, providing a practical alternative to inpatient hospitalization or residential care. PHP employs a comprehensive approach to mental health services, integrating therapeutic and support services with medical care. The men's partial hospitalization program at Live Free offers a number of care services including case management, clinical services, individual medical and mental health providers, and recovery support staff. Clients in this program also have access to meals including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks while in our care.

DHHS offers NH residents free print materials in English or Spanish for those who are: ready to quit, thinking about quitting, are pregnant, under the age of 21, or know someone that wants to quit. Confidential telephone counseling is available at no cost by Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialists. A fax referral option is available for providers to refer patients that want to quit. Medicaid may cover the cost of smoking cessation aids such as medications, patches or gum.

Integrated Medication Assisted Treatment is the use of medications in with counseling and behavioral therapies , to provide a whole patient approach to the treatment of substance use disorder”- US Dept of Health and Human Services’ Center for Substance Abuse Treatment” Currently medications used to treat Opioid Abuse Disorder are buprenorphine/naloxone ( Suboxone), Naltrexone and Methadone. Naloxone is used to revive patients who have over-dosed. We are not prescribing methaode for opioid abuse disorder. Patient acuity ranges from opioid dependent to heavily addicted. Levels of service and appropriate sites of care vary based upon the patient’s acuity and circumstances. Our clinical philosophy is to facilitate the individual’s return to the highest level of physiological, psychological and societal functioning. The program takes a holistic , evidence-based approach. It includes a formal treatment agreement; individualized treatment plan; opioid replacement therapy; toxicology screening; prescription monitoring; patient and family education; social supports; as well as behavioral , copgnitive and other interventions.

The Weeks North Country Recovery Center is a multidisciplinary treatment center for individuals dealing with an addiction to drugs, opioids, alcohol, and all substance use disorders.
