Integrated Medication Assisted Treatment is the use of medications in with counseling and behavioral therapies , to provide a whole patient approach to the treatment of substance use disorder”- US Dept of Health and Human Services’ Center for Substance Abuse Treatment”
Currently medications used to treat Opioid Abuse Disorder are buprenorphine/naloxone ( Suboxone), Naltrexone and Methadone. Naloxone is used to revive patients who have over-dosed. We are not prescribing methaode for opioid abuse disorder.
Patient acuity ranges from opioid dependent to heavily addicted. Levels of service and appropriate sites of care vary based upon the patient’s acuity and circumstances.
Our clinical philosophy is to facilitate the individual’s return to the highest level of physiological, psychological and societal functioning. The program takes a holistic , evidence-based approach. It includes a formal treatment agreement; individualized treatment plan; opioid replacement therapy; toxicology screening; prescription monitoring; patient and family education; social supports; as well as behavioral , copgnitive and other interventions.

Parenting Journey in Recovery is a 14-session group specifically designed for parents in recovery. This program helps parents explore past family patterns, begin to heal past wounds, and seize the opportunity to take a new path that strengthens recovery, involves personal responsibility, and take positive actions, while facing the daily challenges of living with addiction. Parenting Journey in Recovery will help you to: Identify strengths and increase your resiliency, build greater trust and connections to others, become more confident in your recovery and more hopeful and optimistic about the future, and understand what it means to be a parent while struggling with challenges of recovery.

Twelve-week intensive outpatient programs which includes nine hours/week group counseling, and one weekly individual session Services also includes the following: Evaluate clients' substance use disorder and assess their readiness for treatment. Help clients develop treatment goals and plans. Review and recommend treatment options with clients and their families. Help clients develop skills and behaviors necessary to recover from their substance use disorder. Work with clients to identify behaviors or situations that interfere with their recovery. Teach families about addiction and help them develop strategies to cope with those problems. Refer clients to other resources and services, such as job placement services and support groups. Conduct outreach programs to help people identify the signs of addiction and other destructive behavior, as well as steps to take to avoid such behavior.
