Help clients develop skills and behaviors necessary to recover from their substance use disorder. Work with clients to identify behaviors or situations that interfere with their recovery. Teach families about addiction and help them develop strategies to cope with those problems. Refer clients to other resources and services, such as job placement services and support groups. Conduct outreach programs to help people identify the signs of addiction and other destructive behavior, as well as steps to take to avoid such behavior.

White Horse offers Outpatient Mental Health Services to men & women in our Ossipee and North Conway locations. Counseling Services for the following: Anxiety, Depression, Relationships, Grief, Self-Esteem, Trauma, Major life changes, Parenting issues, Anger, Social Skills, Communication Skills, Other issues that may be affecting you. The Lakes Addiction Treatment Center, located in Laconia, New Hampshire, provides an outpatient addiction recovery experience for individuals suffering from substance abuse disorder. Our licensed and certified addiction recovery care specialists will tailor an individualized program to meet your personal needs and goals while combining proven pharmacological and behavioral therapies. Services include Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP, Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) and Oupatient with 1:1 Sessions (OP)

Our residential program is a safe, home-like environment that provides support and evaluation for individuals who are experiencing challenges in managing symptoms related to their mental illness with or without co-occurring substance use. The residence is a modified therapeutic community, a treatment model where collaboration and community are integral to the recovery process, and where peers are encouraged to develop relationships and provide feedback and support in an individual’s recovery. The residential program is staffed 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, to provide support, treatment intervention, and monitoring. Length of stay is determined on an individualized basis as not all our participants’ needs are the same.

Forge VFR (Veterans and First Responders) is confidential treatment for those who serve and are struggling with mental health, substance use, and trauma.

The Elliot’s Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provide individual and group-based treatment of co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders. PHP and IOP are for individuals who need care that is more intensive than individual outpatient programs but not as intensive as residential treatment.

Counselors help patients manage health conditions including anxiety, depression, life transitions, substance misuse, diabetes and other chronic illnesses. They also support patients in making changes such as improving diet and exercise habits or reducing substance misuse. NOTE: Must be an established patient at Families First Health Center or Goodwin Community Health in order to use these services.

Our behavioral health providers offer empathetic and approachable care to give patients ownership in their health. Our behavioral health providers work as a team with primary care providers to provide integrated, whole person care. We can provide services to teenagers and adults age 13 and older. If your child is younger than 13 and needs behavioral health services, please talk with their primary care provider.
