North Conway Community Center offers various sports for children 2nd - 6th grade

Dover Youth to Youth is an after-school drug-prevention program coordinated by the Dover Police Department Community Outreach Bureau. Y2Y is open to students in 6th -12th grade in local schools in Dover. The Drop-In Center is open year round, with extended opportunities on early release Wednesdays, school vacation weeks, days off from school and during the summer break. Activities include trips & excursions, art & music appreciation, academic enrichment, leadership development, mentoring, prevention and recreational programming. PYW provides daily meals and snacks, along with access to a fully stocked food pantry which is accessible daily and by special request for parents and guardians of school aged children in town.

YMCA School Age Child Care before and after school programs.Services includes: getting homework completed, eating healthy snacks, getting at least 30 minutes of physical activity and participating in curriculum that supports learning.

The Dover Teen Center provides a variety of activities and support to Dover youth in grades 6 thru 12. The Teen Center is open on school holidays, vacation weeks, and during the summer.

Works to reduce alcoholism and drug addiction by preventing youth substance misuse. This is done through youth education and working with groups and schools.

The CIT program is for campers who are 16 years old by June 24th. The program’s focus is on personal leadership and development — the first step in the Camps leadership training series. Once this program is completed, campers can apply for the LIT (Leadership in training) program. The Coniston Leader-In-Training (LIT) program is the second phase of Coniston’s Leadership Program and a majority of our Campers-In-Training (CITs) apply after completing their CIT summer. There are 20 girl LIT spots and 16 boy LIT spots available each summer. Unlike the CIT program the LIT program is a paid position with YMCA Camp Coniston.

Our Clubhouse includes a games room, gym, computer lab, art room, teen room, program rooms, outdoor space and cafeteria. Some of our most popular activities include cooking and nutrition programs, community service clubs, recreational sports games, art club, science club, LEGO club and more! In addition to a free snack, Boys & Girls Club of the Lakes Region members enjoy a hot evening meal.

Our summer program consists of six weeklong sessions at Camp Sebago. Children come from Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. The main camp program is geared to boys and girls ages 7 - 12. We also offer one week of teen camp for ages 13 - 16 where campers may spend the week camping out, sleeping in tents and cooking meals over a fire.

The Pemi Youth Center is a non-profit organization serving as an empowerment program during after school hours for youth ages 9 - 17 at no cost to youth and families. The organization offers a variety of activities during its after school program designed to support the positive development of youth. Components of the after school program include, academic assistance, mentoring, substance misuse prevention, empowerment groups, nutritional guidance and cooking instruction, hot meals, art workshops, recreational activities and service learning opportunities.

The Granite YMCA offers a wide variety of programs that are designed to help empower youth to reach their full potential, improve the health and well-being of those in our communities, as well as inspire others to give back. Between all of our enrichments such as swim lessons and youth sports, to our wellness offerings including group exercise and swimming, there really is something for everyone at the Y! Our enrichments run throughout the year as “sessions” that are typically 6-7 weeks long with interim weeks in between. Nashua PAL provides free after school programming at the PAL Youth Safe Haven located at 52 Ash Street. The Center offers homework help, mentoring, various enrichment programs, and recreational activities. Nashua PAL also offers Juvenile Court Diversion along with a host of sports programs for youth, including football, cheerleading, basketball, street hockey, cross country, track and field, and boxing (adult and youth for boxing only).

Making Change is a group model designed and developed by Second Growth to provide prevention education and guidance to adolescents and young adults within the pre-contemplative and contemplative stages of their journey toward harm-reduction and sobriety. Second Growth hosts two Making Change groups on Tuesday evenings beginning at 5 pm. The first Group is for teens between the ages of 11 and 14 who are middle-school aged. The second Group is for teens between the ages of 14 and 19 who are high-school aged. Between the two Groups we enjoy social time while we serve a casual meal of pizza and beverages. All participants are welcome to attend this dinner time break.

The Salvation Army provides a variety of youth services including youth activities and Sunday school

The before school program for current members who attend elementary school in the Milford School District. Parents may drop off at the club as early as 7:00 am and the child will later be transported to Jacques and Heron Pond Elementary schools at the appropriate times. There is limited enrollment due to bus capacity. The after school program offer programs that engage young people in activities with adults, peers, and family members that enable them to develop self-esteem, helping them to grow and reach their full potential. Programs are based on the physical, emotional, cultural and social needs and interests of girls and boys and recognition of development principles. Snow and vacation day programs are also available.
