The Granite YMCA offers a wide variety of programs that are designed to help empower youth to reach their full potential, improve the health and well-being of those in our communities, as well as inspire others to give back. We offer instructor-led, classroom-style, experiential, community-based learning and support with over 60 different classes each month. Individuals have the opportunity to develop social skills, increase independence, develop interests, explore various resources, participate in community activities all while creating a social network of support and fostering a sense of accomplishment. Art Lab is a weekly open studio art program for adults with special needs implemented in collaboration with SNSC and the AVA Gallery and Art Center. The participating artists get a chance to explore different media with an emphasis on creative self-expression while socializing.
