Provides community volunteers with training and certification to lead Alternatives to Violence Project workshops in nonviolent conflict resolution

~ Prevention Education: Provides prevention and outreach interventions in Belknap County with a focus on primary prevention through educational programs to community members, schools, and organizations. Facilitate and present best practice prevention programs on sexual violence, domestic violence, dating violence, stalking, conflict Resolution, Bullying and Teasing. Please call program details including grade levels. ~Professional training: On topics of domestic violence, sexual violence and stalking provided for law enforcement, medical, education professionals, substance abuse professionals, etc. "Domestic Violence in the Workplace" presentation available for all workplaces. ~Volunteer Opportunities: 24-hour support and advocacy (Frontline and Per Diem positions); Board of Directors; Material Goods Organizers; All training provided free-of-charge.
