The Family Services Coordinators work with individuals and families to connect to and help access a variety of supports. Short term case management may include: one-on-one appointments, referrals, and coordinating communication between various support providers. Parenting skills and socialization groups are also offered.

The Family Resource Center offers programs at no cost to help families grow and develop. These programs are at our Family Resource Center located inside our Rochester Head Start site.

The Early Supports & Services Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the intake, family support and the services provided by each agency. The Early Support team may include speech and language pathologists, occupational and physical therapists, educators and early childhood development specialists. Services can be provided in a variety of settings such as your own home, child’s day care, neighborhood playground or other community setting.

Easterseals Veterans Count connects Service Members, Veterans and their families to supports and services. Examples of help provided includes: employment counseling, deployment support, emergency financial assistance, childcare resources, transportation assistance, budgeting and financial management, counseling, etc. In addition Care Coordinators can link service members, veterans, and families to: benefits, health care, mental health services, and substance abuse services.

Our staff helps NH and VT families find resources and services to meet basic needs, make connections, and get support. We offer a wide range of educational classes and groups for free, and all are welcome. For NH families, we provide Healthcare Coordination for families raising children with chronic healthcare conditions, and Community-Based Voluntary Services to preserve families at risk. We also offer diapers, and other products to meet basic needs.

The Family Center offers parenting classes and groups; playgroups and family programs; individualized support for families under stress; and kinship navigation for relative caregivers. Free child care is offered during some parenting classes (advance signup needed). **Programs are offered at Families First in Portsmouth and at community locations in Somersworth, Exeter and Epping, as well as online.

TLC Family Resource Center nurses and parent educators provide comprehensive family support services including home visits, case management, health education, parent education, and supervised visitation services. The agency has a sexual health education program for young women and men ages 16-21.

Family Connections Resource Center helps families of children from the prenatal period through 18 years old. Services offered include: resource, referral and service coordination, parenting & co-parenting classes, Watch Me Grow (developmental screenings), Families Unlimited (in-home/community-based support), Kinship Caregiver programs and support groups, community playgroups.

Local information and referral for basic needs such as food, housing, heating assistance, medical or dental needs, counseling or transportation. - The Grapevine offers a private space and computer for residents to apply for state assistance if necessary using NH Easy. A Grapevine staff member is also available to assist those who need help in entering their information. This service is offered by appointment only.

Comprehensive Family support programs offer services to strengthen families and build community. Home visiting, parental education, peer support, and counseling are available free of charge. Kinship Navigation services for grandparents or other relative care providers.

Our Child, Adolescent and Family Services department provides individual, family and group mental health services for those ages 0-25. We also offer a substance use disorder program that is based on a specially developed program that has been successful for persons ages 12-25. We are also providing services within the schools, as part of our Mental Health in the Schools program, and have added Mental Health in the Camps services at various local Summer camps during the season. The Parenting Plus Program provides emotional support, encouragement, empowerment and practical solutions in managing family life. Comprehensive family support services include parenting skills, healthy communication, resolving conflicts, time management or organizational skills, nutrition, safety, resourcefulness and are provided in the comfort of the family home or in the community. Families participate by choice, at no cost to them.

Fun, developmentally appropriate activities for children ages 1-5 and their siblings, along with parenting discussions and support. Connect and engage with groups in person or online!

NAMI NH provides education, support and public policy advocacy to improve the lives of individuals affected by mental illness/serious emotional disorders. The support and programs offered are for individuals across their lifespan and include: education programs for families, individual and group support, information and referral, suicide prevention programs, support groups, anti-stigma speaker's bureau, professional development training and special mental health/mental illness awareness programs.

Comprehensive Outpatient Community Mental Health Services.

One-on-one support that helps caretakers make connections, build community, and access the resources needed to raise healthy, happy children. In partnership with Family Support Specialists, individuals and their families set goals and work to remove any personal or environmental barriers along the way Home Visits are available for families with new babies or those with limited access to transportation. This service is free, confidential, and completely voluntary.

Community Mental Health Center provides services to assist people with managing the symptoms and impairments resulting from mental illnesses. These include case management, therapy, functional supports, nursing and psychiatric services. The program also utilizes a number of nationally recognized evidenced based practices, including Illness Management and Recovery and Supported Employment.
