Our early learning centers benefit from qualified early childhood teachers with decades of experience in the field and a strong understanding of and passion for early childhood development. Early learning spaces are completely separate from Boys & Girls Club after school programs, with a few exceptions (such as the use of a gym while the older children are at school).

The Farmington Parks and Recreation Department provides recreational opportunities and special events for the community. Some of the programs offered by the department include: after school program for grades 1-5, free after hours programs for grades 5-8, toddler classes, senior bingo and trip club, summer camp, vacation camp, karate, and many other year round activities. Special events include our annual egg hunt, trick or treat parade, family nights at Fernald park, haunted house, and Hay Day.

The Granite YMCA’s Before & After School Care Programs are a fun, safe, and productive way for your school age child to spend their time beyond school hours. Our School Age Child Care Programs offer a blend of fun and educational activities, including dedicated homework time, physical fitness, creative arts, thematic programming, STEM activities, and more. Kids will also have the opportunity to explore nature, move their bodies, gain independence, and make lasting friendships and memories.

Comprehensive preschool, child development program, health checks, education and family services.

Emergency shelter for families and adult individuals. After-School and Summer Programs are offered for current and former shelter guests. The Children's Service Coordinator also helps connect families with their child's school.

YMCA School Age Child Care before and after school programs.Services includes: getting homework completed, eating healthy snacks, getting at least 30 minutes of physical activity and participating in curriculum that supports learning.

Our School Age Child Care Programs offer a blend of fun and educational activities, including dedicated homework time, physical fitness, creative arts, thematic programming, STEM experiences, and more.

The following programs are offered: Full time child care programs, Full day or half day care, Before and after school programs for school age children, Summer day camp for school age children. Snack and lunches are provided.

The before school program for current members who attend elementary school in the Milford School District. Parents may drop off at the club as early as 7:00 am and the child will later be transported to Jacques and Heron Pond Elementary schools at the appropriate times. There is limited enrollment due to bus capacity. The after school program offer programs that engage young people in activities with adults, peers, and family members that enable them to develop self-esteem, helping them to grow and reach their full potential. Programs are based on the physical, emotional, cultural and social needs and interests of girls and boys and recognition of development principles. Snow and vacation day programs are also available.

Offering a developmentally appropriate curriculum, we emphasize imaginative play, art, music, and we honor the rhythm of the seasons. Our program is play-based and focuses on teacher-guided activities that build self-esteem, social skills, and community.

The Kingswood Youth Center offers after school programs, offering teens a safe and fun space to spend time together and engage in many types of activities. Students are transported to and from the Center via GWRSD buses or may be dropped off and picked up by a parent or guardian. A hot meal is provided each afternoon. Programs are free to all KRMS and KRHS students. They also offer Beyond The After School (BTAS!) programs. These additional programs are hosted on weekends, during evening hours, during school vacations, and on holidays. Each year the KYC even hosts a few overnight trips! BTAS! programs have included hiking, beach trips, field days, farm trips, dinner and movie nights, and much more.

After school program that provides qualified staff to supervise and guide your child. Includes vacation days, snow days, and vacation weeks at after-school rates. Activities include recreational swimming, sports activities, arts and crafts, and even time to do homework. Our policy is to provide services regardless of ability, whether financial or physical. Transportation to the Nashua YMCA is provided from Nashua public schools to the Nashua Y. Transportation to the Merrimack YMCA provided from Mastricola Middle and Elementary Schools, Reeds Ferry Elementary, and Thorntons Ferry Elementary.

Boys & Girls Club of Manchester offers before and after school programs with multiple locations to help support our early and late working parents. Our program locations include the Union Street Clubhouse, Jewett Street School, Highland Goffe’s Falls School, and Camp Foster.
