Home Health Aides help patients get in and out of bed, bathe, dress and walk. Aides can provide more specialized care such as exercise routines, blood draws, and simple dressings. 2. Family Resource Centers (FRC)s provide support groups for caregivers and kids who have parents who are incarcerated. Children groups are organized by age so kids can talk freely amongst their peers and maybe for the first time realize they are not the only ones in a situation such as they are going through. Caregiver support groups and family counselling also available. Family Connections Center within three state prisons offer parenting education and support, creates/maintains healthy connections between parents & their kids via video visits, recording audiobooks, summer camp, family counseling and family reentry planning sessions with the caregivers of the children.
