WAG rescues and receives unwanted, abused, and stray animals. WAG offers animal adoption. WAG accepts animals from New Hampshire only.

The services offered include: adoption, fostering, feline rescue, low cost spay or neuter information, Free spay program for mother cats and trap-neuter-return help. It has an adoption center located in the PetsMart store at 290 South Broadway (Route 28) in Salem, New Hampshire.

Rescues any species of animals we are able from abused & abandoned animals, mostly horses and at risk pregnant dogs and pregnant cats and provides them with a temporary or permanent safe place to interact.

ASPCA offers a Pet Loss Hotline. Pet parents can receive help from the ASPCA Pet Loss Support program with the following issues: *Assistance with the decision to euthanize. *Comfort and support at the time of euthanasia. *Help with grieving the loss. *Advice on dealing with children, the elderly or disabled individuals who are facing a death of a companion animal. *Helping the surviving animals in the household to cope. *Assistance in establishing a relationship with a new pet.
